Absolutely love the place, atmosphere is very pleasant and the food is truly delicious, I especially loved the sweet potatoes. Burgers and sauces also very delicious and yummy.

We ordered the crispy chili udon noodles and the dirty wedges vegan stoofvlees. What a treat! It’s the first time we visit Ghent and I wanted to try something more traditional and it did not disappoint at all. The sauce was rich, the faux meat was tender, the wedges cooked to perfection and the tartar sauce was the perfect addition. Loved it!!

I was very tired from a long drive and had little appetite. But after the first bite of the stoofvlees, my system woke up. Sodas were sugar free and actually tasted sugar free, which was very refreshing.

The dishes on Greenways menu seemed a bit simple and standard, but I figured I would give it a try. However I was completely blown away by the taste. We had the Vegan Stoofvlees and nachos and both were pretty amazing. Now I’m sure I would go back when I’m in Gent.

I already visited this place in the '90's when it was one of the only veg places in Gent (then vegetarian, now vegan).

So was very happy to accidentally meet founder Paul Florizoone during this visit. ☺️ Great coincidence. And I gave a Happy Cow window sticker which he immediately put up!
Order at the counter. Food is brought to your table.
We had the potato wedges (5,95€) and the gourmet burger (13,95€) and the wedges with stew (stoverij) 13,90€.
Lovely food. Very decent portions.
Seatings are a combination of wooden chairs, some benches with cushions and high bar stools at the front windows.
Entrance not accessible. Step to get in. Two toilets at the back. Clean. Paper towels to dry ones hands. No accessible toilet.

Nice find in Gent. It is all vegan and has a small menu but enough choices. It’s a chain. We had nachos to share which was really good. We then are ‘dirty wedges and stoofvlees’. It’s the vegan version of a well known Belgium dish. It was real nice but not 5 stars.

Been coming here since almost 20 years. A nice selection of meals, everything is vegan. Some nice drinks and brownie or carrot cake.

Staff is superfriendly, everything is vegan and delicious, very cosy interior. My favourite place in Ghent for vegan food. Sweet potato wedges are an absolute treat and I recommend the mushroom burger.

We had the famous pita kebab and Falafel Wrap. Both was good but difficult to eat. It was served in a bowl that was a bit too small and cutting it in the bowl was difficult.

Stopped here for lunch and we weren’t disappointed. I tried the wedges with vegan stew, super tasty by the way!! And my husband had the pita kebab. Both incredible good. Staff is super kind and friendly.

We were happily surprised with the food there. They have delicious options, the price was reasonable, chill atmosphere and nice concept. From what I read on the toilet (who doesn't?) their environmental awareness go beyond the food, and places that take this extra step always have a special place in my heart.
