Good food but overpriced - Edit
We went here for a lunch and were surprised that we didn’t have any options to choose from but a 35 or 55 euro 3/5 course menu of the day with coffee or tea to finish off. Apparently they changed their concept in January. We asked for just the starter or just the main but that wasn’t possible. The lunch itself was really nice. The food was really good and we really enjoyed it. In the end they mixed up our included coffee order and we just didn’t expect an 80€ lunch.

Not for me - Edit
- Edit August 2024
Read moreThe owner posts all kind of conspiracy, pseudoscientific and discriminatory stuff on his social media.
I have no intention of visiting again.
- Update - visit April 2024.
Menu has changed. No longer option to choose dishes, but fixed 'menu of the day' at 35 or 55€.
Including appetizer, main and dessert etc.
I didn't know this and just came for a main dish ... Which was granted, but normally you should take the entire menu.
Nice interior. Service is done by owner/cook himself, fine if there are only 2-3 tables ...
Very expensive, all things considered.
Main dish was 20€, delicious, but rather small portion.
Small mocktail was 11€! 😯
Chocolate mousse 6€.

Nice new place in town! It's just a little bit outside the tourist center, but well worth it.
Had the tapas platter as a starter (trio dip, 16€), vol au vent (22€) and the lentil dish (21€).
The lentil dish tasted very nice, but a bit disappointing it came in a 'takeaway' aluminum box. Vol-au-vent was nice too. Not as creamy as we are used too (very thin sauce). Liked the protein pieces, which are not very common to find (made from gluten powder and chickpeas).
Not really big portions, so good thing we had the tapas plate first.
We had a nice lunch. Service was unusual and took a bit longer that day as family of the host stepped in, because his partner was ill and absent that day. But they managed fine!
There's also a small terrace at the back with 2 tables. Very nice.
Relaxed setting, good atmosphere.
Accessibility: 1 small step to get in. 1 toilet at the back - accessible).
Gave them a Happy Cow sticker. Hope they put it up! 😉

Great food, lovely atmosphere - Edit
This is truly a vegan oasis - we very much enjoyed our lunch. You're in for a set menu of three courses, which was rather unusual, but we would have it again anytime! The food is freshly made, so tasty and the chocolate mousse was the best one I ever had. This is a place you should definetly go when in Bruge, make sure to make a booking 😊

Lovely lunch and perfect chocolate mouse - Edit
We had a fabulous relaxed lunch at Greens and Beans. The fixed menu was delicious. The chocolate mouse including the lemon mint on the top was the best I have tasted! Excellent friendly service despite our host flying solo on the day. Thoroughly recommend.

Worth the walk - Edit
I had the lunch set menu, which I was a bit skeptical it would hit the spot. Greens&Beans is an oasis, what a wonderful place. The food is excellent, I’m so happy I made the trek, worth every step.

Very friendly and tasty vegan restaurant - Edit
The restaurant is a little oasis away from the touristic and crowded centre of Bruges. It offers one fix menu (starter, main course, dessert coffee). Everything is organic, vegan and cooked with love. We enjoyed our stay with very friendly service, nice quiet music and really tasty food.

I was not accepted at this place - Edit
Very disappointing experience. I went from Brussels to test this restaurant, I entered and they told me, if I haven’t had a reservation they cannot accept me. The restaurant was almost empty. I will not try again to visit it and I would absolutely not recommend it. This was a very ugly treatment.

Good but a bit overpriced - Edit
Had the pasta pesto and lentil bake. Good portions and nice food. A little bit more depth flavourwise would lift these dishes to a higher level which you would expect the dishes to have given their prices.

Brilliant food! - Edit
Brilliant food- we both said one of the best meals we’ve ever had! We had the potato wedges to start, and then the pesto pasta and vol au vent, and the brownie to finish. Will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Booking seems to be a must.

Delicious - Edit
Lovely spot in Bruges. We came here on a cold day and it was cosy and welcoming inside. The menu is fully vegan, with the option of having oat milk or soy milk for hot drinks. I had a soy latte which was beautifully presented and came with a small gingerbread man. For the main we had a beautifully presented dish (can't remember the name!) which consisted of fake meat in a rich creamy sauce with crispy potatoes and a salad, which balanced out the meal nicely. Staff were really friendly - would recommend!

Lovely place and gorgeous food - Edit
This cute little restaurant (with a lovely "hidden" terrace, where they grow their own herbs) is not very central but worth the detour. We had the Cesar salad, the vol-au-vent and the frangipane tartelette (a new favourite of mine!) and everything was freshly made and delicious. The seitan of the vol-au-vent literally melted in my mouth! It’s a bit pricey but the high quality justifies it. The only thing I didn’t like were the somehow “dodgy” books (free of charge) close to the door, but I didn’t notice them until we left, so they did not bother me.

Very fine food - Edit
The food was really delicious. Salad came without bread or other carbs, but this was compensated with the big amount of nachos my mother ordered, so we could share. We liked the kombucha also. All the details were perfect chosen. Be aware of the free books at the entrance. They are conspiracy and fake news.
