An oasis 🥰 - Edit
Great stop for lunch while exploring downtown Asheville’s River Arts district. Fresh, fast, filling, delicious - Definitely come hungry because the portions are generous and they have vegan options APLENTY 🙌🏼 We tried several different items - the Good Life bowl, the Woodstock breakfast plate, the Tigris bowl, all vegan as is - everything was filling and satisfying.

Excellent Fresh Vegan Options - Edit
They have vegan bowls, wraps, smoothies, and some baked goods. I tried their Veggie Hummus wrap and Green Day smoothie. Both were so yummy! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and clean.
Read more10% service charge? I found this to be very odd. At this place, you order the food yourself at the counter. They do bring the food over when it's done, but then you clean up for yourself afterward. I don't understand what service they're charging an additional fee for.
I just wanted to mention that I was a little surprised to see that fee. I will still be back, and the food was awesome.
Pros: Many vegan options!, Helpful staff , Great tasting fresh food
Cons: 10% service charge

Yummy Vegan Breakfast with Options - Edit
Love, this place what ever you get is always good. Most of their menu is plant-based. All their drinks can be made planted based if you ask. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely come here again when I’m in Asheville. BTW the portions are a good size too & I did not realize they actually have three locations so that’s very very very cool.

5 Stars: Fresh, Delicious, and Something for Everybody! - Edit
This cafe was so good! There were plenty of options for both vegans and omnivores. I had the chia seed pudding and mocha mint latte, my mom also had the mocha mint latte and a vegan pumpkin chocolate muffin, my cousins split a delicious looking avocado toast and a strawberry banana smoothie, and my brother had a turkey club wrap. I also took a vegan blueberry muffin for later. Positive reviews all around! Sad that I don’t live in Asheville, because I would definitely be coming back regularly!

Creative take on traditional breakfast - Edit
Had the Woodstock breakfast. It was filling and just the thing for a hungry morning. Another person in my group liked this breakfast best of several this trip. I would like to try other items on the menu that look great and do recommend trying this cafe. The lattes had the most outstanding foam.

The soup is awesome - Edit
The soups are vegan! The mushroom one was probably the best thing any of us got. The prices are very reasonable as well. Only tiny complaint is the tomatoes tasted a little weird in the eggs but might have been something odd.

Love this cafe! You order at the counter. Have a case full of bakery items, some which are vegan. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffin was delicious. We got the good life bowl (highly recommend), tempeh TLT (so good), and avocado toast. Everything was so good!

Really good vegan stop in Asheville🌱 - Edit
Green Sage Cafe had great outdoor shaded seating and was dog friendly which was nice. Big menu with lots of vegan options and everything is clearly labeled. I got the Van Gough Burrito and the Kale Caesar Salad- the burrito was really good (really filling and packed full of scramble and veggies), the salad was good too but a little to bland for what I was expecting for a Caesar salad- still good but missing some of the vinegar acidity I was hoping for. Overall really great spot that I’d go to again! Plus lots of drink options, really yummy kombucha brewed locally😊🌱🌯

My hubby and I had breakfast here before heading out for a day of hiking. The staff was very friendly and they have a nice offering of vegan dishes. We both had the tofu scramble and it came with root hash & sautéed kale. The ciabatta bread was delicious & came with vegan butter & jam. Definitely would go back again!

Good find - Edit
Stopped here for breakfast before leaving town and was pleased to see multiple vegan options! They have oatmeal, tofu scramble, and tempeh bacon that comes in a few different dishes. The staff understood dietary restrictions and vegan and “gluten sensitive” options were clearly marked. Uses organic and local ingredients when possible. They also have baked goods available.
