Green green trees - Edit
The food was good here. But one person in my party had the sushi and it was terrible. It took the food a long time to come out and one person had to also wait a long time #Veganuary

I come here often for the curry soup and bento boxes. The XO sauce changed me! The ladies there are so nice and have great recipes. I definitely recommend.

Good food, weird music - Edit
Food was pretty good. I really liked the crispy chicken bento. They played some weird jungle and monkey noises, which was off putting and a little weird…

Good but not the best - Edit
I ordered the fried rice noodles. It had cabbage, carrots and a tofu like meat substitute. It had a slight mala flavor, but was definitely lacking in a sauce. I also ordered the mushroom skewers. They were really good. Tasted just like street bbq. I still want to try it one more time but I think 4 stars is fair.
Read moreThe service was nice. Super friendly lady behind the counter.
The shopping center felt a little sketch, as there was trash everywhere.
It’s a place that has great potential to be a Diamond in the rough.
Pros: All vegan menu, Additional frozen products for sale, Friendly service
Cons: Shady parking lot, Could use more pop, Could feel cleaner

Flavourful and filling food - Edit
Really enjoyed the sweet and sour chick'n and curry soup. Both dishes had a variety of tasty ingredients in perfect quantities. The food was fresh and super satisfying. It is one of those places where you can't quite get out of your mind until you've tried everything. I will be back.

Great discovery for soy-based vegan food - Edit
Dined here yesterday for lunch w/hubby and we had a few tasty bento boxes. Found the place here on Happy Cow and am glad we did! It's a Chinese-run business and the owner was very friendly and informative with questions we had regarding the food. We don't speak Chinese, but her English was excellent. Chinese-speakers would probably be able to communicate even better getting more detailed answers to their questions.
Read moreBoth bentos came with what I'm guessing was supposed to be a vegan fishcake and the texture was virtually spot on. Other items included fried tofu cubes, a tasty five-grain rice with some spicy condiment on it, edamame, steamed mixed vegetables and a vegan "tuna" salad. From what I can understand, most of the product is sourced from Taiwan, as the owner showed up the package of vegan tuna that is used to make the tuna salad. That means, we're unable to duplicate the same thing at home, unfortunately. It seemed like most of the items were based on soy products, so probably not much tempeh or seitan.
I would definitely go back to try other items on the menu as other reviews have raved about other items. It was a Sunday and there was only one other couple there besides us. I'm not sure how the weekday crowd looks, but hoping this place gets enough business to stay around awhile.
Pros: Friendly, informative staff, Tasty food, Nice-sized portions for the money

Fresh Asian lunches and bites - Edit
Vegan chicken was my favorite in the bento I got. I loved the chili mix they put into the rice, I think it’s made by them? They sell jars of it at their register. Fried appetizers and gyoza was super crispy and delicious! Fresh juices were good too.

Delicious Surprise - Edit
The family got takeout and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu has a lot of choices, everything we got was very tasty. Kids loved the vegan sushi which is hard to find. The lion’s mane bento was great. The black pepper beef daily special was very good particularly the fried rice and I’m not big on rice. The Pho was good and the fried dumplings and Rangoon were tasty. Will definitely go again. The place was very clean and bright inside

Environment is super chill and friendly. Ingredients were all fresh and high quality. Food was delicious even after driving for about 30 minutes home. Price is reasonable for the portion you get. Inexpensive compared to other vegan places.

Tasty Taiwanese food - Edit
I remember seeing this restaurant back when it had less than 100 Google reviews, then jump to today, when that number exploded to over 1,000! I assumed they hit the local news or something, but it was actually bigger than that: they got viral on Tiktok! Very glad for the owner. She was nice despite being swamped with orders. Please be patient, though. When I was there, she was doing everything on her own, both at the front register and in the kitchen.
