What just happened - Edit
I was waiting for a Workshop to start in nearby Rog center so I was roaming around and decided to sit somewhere - I've seen this place and decided to give my money to plant based place as vegan. I ordered a coffee and chickpea burek. The staff was not so nice, but ok... it doesn't matter... The burek they brought from the was THE WORST I ever had (triangle shape)... 🤐 It was not warm, it was maybe 3, 4 days old, just falling apart, dry, there was NO chickpea cream filling AT All. I never leave the food - but this half I took home to show to my husband and throw it in the trashes. I feel bad for writting this to a vegan only restaurant - but Please... don't cheat people. I never had such bad experience in a vegan restaurant.

Insane - Edit
First, you have to go here. You must. I've been vegan for six years now, and this is probably one of the best breakfasts I've had.
Read moreThey have a big offer, but I went with the seasonal sandwich, which was a warm foccacia with scrambled tofu, tomatoes and pickled onion, among other things. The flavors were blending so well together.
If you're there on a sunny day, take your food outside to sit by the river and beautiful surroundings, without the noise from cars.
The staff is very nice, and I talked to the cook who recommended me a place to go for my trip to Bled.
Amazing experience.
Pros: Super breakfast, Calm and beautiful outside, Kind staff

good selection - Edit
The Deli offers a nice selection of different foods, to eat there or take away. The seating outside next to the river is very nice. We got a bit confused by the opening times since it said it was only open until 8. When we walked by around 10 it was still open with music and cocktails though. Since we didn‘t see that anywhere beforehand we sadly only brought something for takeaway the next day, which was very good though.

Good vibes and good food - Edit
Absolutely loved the whole philosophy of this place: high quality organic, locally sourced ingredients used to create a nicely varied menu that purposefully avoids falling into the trap of just veganizing standard foods and instead aims to focus a bit more on the plants.
Read moreThe tempeh was delicious with a nice salad of fresh ingredients, roasted tomatoes, a couple sauces, excellent kimchi, and a great chickpea-based fermented “cheese” that’s unique and its own thing.
My friend’s protein bowl was excellent as well, as was the house beer and the hazelnut ice cream iced coffee. Staff was lovely and the place is bright and white and absolutely flooded with natural light. Can’t recommend it enough!

Great restaurant, great atmosphere - Edit
This place was great, we had oyster burger which was great I would only prefer a little bit more mushrooms in the burger and a little less stuffing. They also have a great beverage menu with great wines, they have great beers and kombuchas. The atmosphere was so good. They had DJ playing outside and they have a dog that greeted everyone on the terrace which is a huge plus if you ask me :). Place was full and and everyone was friendly and kind.

Good food - Edit
We were at Grashka Deli on Friday for the Street Food Market that should have started at 12, but when we got there at 12:15 everything was still being prepared and even at around 1 pm only one food stall was there. When we got in to ask how the market would work we waited for at least 10 minutes until the first employee took notice of us. This was certainly due to the stress of the market preparations, but still did not make us feel overly welcome.
Read moreAlso the market wasn‘t a real market: you would choose and pay the dish in the deli and then go outside to take your whole portion of food at the stall, instead of buying different small bites of food from different stalls as the flyer implied (in our opinion).
From Grashka Deli we had the fermented chickpea ice cream, lemonades and a cappuccino and everything was delicious. We would recommend the place but were a bit disappointed by the unpleasentness of the arrival and the street food market experience for which we originally came. We think the idea of a vegan street food market as an alternative to the meat-heavy Friday food market in the city is an amazing idea, but it still has to be improved.
Pros: Fermented chickpea ice cream
Cons: Service

Delicious meals and deli - Edit
I’m staying a five-minute walk away, and I plan on eating here often! I’ve been to Grashka once so far, both to dine in and take away. The tempeh meal was delicious and satisfying: barbecue-flavoured tempeh strips, roast potatoes, salad, kimchi and sauces. I've also had the oyster-mushroom burger - even the bun is good. Tasty pastries include burek, croissants, apple strudel and hazelnut roll. There are frozen pizzas to take away (two versions, on chickpea-flour crusts). I bought the rosemary-pepper flavour of their fermented-chickpea block to use like tofu. The fermented-chickpea ice cream(!) comes in great flavours - I've tried lemon and hazelnut.

Yummy - Edit
I had the most yummeroo hot dog situation. I ate it too fast and forgot to take a photo. It came with really yummy little new potatoes with cashew sour cream. It was a little pricey but honestly so worth the $$. We also had the more reasonably priced soup(needed salt) and chickpea “cheesecake”. Both were good.

Explosive Oyster Mushroom burger - Edit
On Friday Grashka Deli was offering special burger, with fried oyster mushroom in bread crumbs, coleslaw salad, kimchi ketchup, champignon and onion ragu, buckwheat buns. Brutal. Combo included a baked potato in oven with garlic, herbs and fermented chickpea rikotta.
Read moreDeli is also offering many kinds of plant-based delicatessen, mostly based on fermented legumes, buckwheat, hemp or mushrooms. You can also try fermented almond block.
