Great place with vegan options, sushi deal - Edit
I have now been twice at « Gran Shang Hai » in my two days of holiday so far in Mallorca.
Read moreFirst I went for the Chinese food, where they have a few options on the menu which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. When the « vegetable fried rice » arrived, I was a bit sceptical at first, as it looked very much like the Italian « Risi e Bisi » (rice with peas), but it tasted quite delicious and was filling, just like the « Fried Chinese vegetables ».
The other time I was there, I went for the « all you can eat sushi » deal, which you can only take if everybody at your table takes it (likely to avoid free riding). While they only have 3 options for vegans and vegetarians inder this deal (the usual suspects cucumber and avocado, and a « veggie roll » with cucumber, carrot, and avocado), those also were quite delicious. Definitely worth trying out!

Oily food - Edit
They didn’t have any tofu dishes when I tried to order. Ended up with small spring rolls and fried noodles with vegetables. The food was super oily, and the place and service was so so.

Staff were very friendly and knew what vegan was, so told me what was suitable on the menu. Portion sizes were good, tasty and reasonably priced.
