great and affordable vegetarian menu - with salad bar! - Edit
Vegetarian lunch menu (entrada, plato de fondo, té with cancha/literally popcorn, dessert and great salad bar) for s/6, comfortable food - ask if you're in doubt about VEGAN options.
The restaurant is a 'hidden' gem close to the Plaza de la Constitución, with nice service and Krishna decoration (with an 80's and 90's playlist).
I believe it only accepts cash payment. Ask for a boleta at the cashier.
**do a favor to sustainability and put salad on top of your dish, instead of using an additional plate.
There are quite a few vegetarian menus in Huancayo offering inexpensive set menus and I've tried quite a few. This is one of the better ones I would. Women at the cunter spoke to me in english and she gave reasonably good information on what was vegan and what was not. They also had the different dishes on offer that day displayed at the front which made it easier to know what I was getting. I thought the taste of the food was better than other places too as I had to put less of the standard spicy dip that seems to come with the meals as standard. The places is also quite spacious. I have given this 4 happy cows as a relative local rating.
