Excellent food - vegan and other - Edit
The vegan menu is excellent. It has many dishes you wouldn't ordinarily get - sadly that's also the case for the many meat and cheese options.

I really enjoyed the three courses I had: vegan tartare, mushroom and tofu vol au vont and sorbet. My boyfriend’s red tofu curry also looked delicious. It was a nice experience and felt cozy inside. The restaurant is hundreds of years old and has a fascinating history.

Wir assen im März 22 hier. Wir hatten Gemüsetartar, Bio-Sojaragout, Pastetli mit Eierschwämmli-Tofu-Pastetli und Rotweinzwetschgen mit zweierlei Sorbet. Sogar auf der Weinkarte hat es vegan gelabelte Möglichkeiten. Der Kellner sagte auch, dass das Brot vegan sei. Alles war unglaublich fein und wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal da.

They usually have two or three interesting vegan options on their menu (one is with locally made tofu).
Read moreTheir food is really tasty, I like the fact that their healthy vegan options contain either faux-meat, tofu/soya or pulses, as a lot of non-vegan restaurants still only serve veg/carbohydrate dishes as vegan options.
Unfortunately, they don't have any vegan desserts on their menu. Their sorbets are probably vegan, you need to ask the waiter which desserts are vegan or could be made vegan though.
Pros: tasty food, all vegan mains contain protein (soya, pulses), very central location
Cons: no vegan desserts on menu

Rare vegan gourmet - Edit
If want expensive and vegan, here you can get it. Unfortunately on weekends only on Saturday evening. I haven't eaten there yet but I hear good things.
