Gordon Ramsay Academy - Edit
I really enjoyed the “let’s cook vegan” course. In this course we cooked an appetizer, main, and dessert in three hours. After the class, participants were able to take all of the food they cooked home. It felt like I brought 5 pounds of food home!
Read moreThe Academy also offers other vegan courses (that may be one-off / ad hoc), such as a plant-based athlete cooking course. When I left after the class, the receptionist informed me that many of the courses could accommodate vegan upon advance request, such as the Asian an Indian food cooking classes.
In general, this felt extremely professional. We were in a professional kitchen and had high-quality ingredients and tools available to us. I would definitely bring other friends here and take other courses here again. It’s also walking distance from the train station. I drove on this day and would not recommend it if you’re traveling from London because it took almost double time (It was raining!).
My only concern is their vegan course only had three participants (probably due to lack of awareness of this class). The Academy seem keen on adding more vegan options but it’s concerning that the class only had three people in the course… So, if you’re on the fence about taking a vegan cooking somewhere, I think the Gordon Ramsay Academy is definitely a good place to try!
