Lost count of how many times we’ve eaten here - Edit
Being the sister restaurant to the wonderful Reform Kafé, it’s no wonder this place is such a gem.
Read moreTheir mushroom burger is our absolute favourite, and their ’Philly steak cheese sandwich’ seems to be made of same stuff as the burger patty—both are very delicious! We also love the falafel in pita bread and the brown rice & mushroom bowl. We personally don’t recommend the pastas as the couple we tried were quite bland. All the cakes we’ve had were yummy and of the drinks the four seasons smoothie is my favourite.
Despite having a ’no screens’ policy, the staff always make an exception for us during the afternoon when the restaurant is quiet. We think they should open the upper floor (which currently seems to be out of use) as a co-working space… then we’d have an excuse to eat here even more than we already do!
UPDATE, July 2023
I’ve always avoided the falafel in tomato sauce because it sounded a bit strange to me, but oh my gosh it’s soo yummy! They really nailed those herby Italian flavours. Another dish I tried is the pesto tomato crostini but it was a disappointment, mainly because the bread was quite dense and chewy and the taste wasn't as fresh as I’d hoped. The mango cream shake is delectable; thick, creamy and coconutty. My partner loves the dirty coffee; it’s quite small but very tasty and partners well with their rich, chocolatey black forest cake.
UPDATE, August 2023
Secret menu item: Order the falafel in tomato sauce and a side of plain spaghetti, and mix them together. It’s a game changer! I don’t really like the pasta dishes they have on the menu but this little trick works a treat. Plus, the portion you end up with is enormous, almost enough for two!

Superb Vegan Resto - Edit
We've been here multiple times during our stay in Chiang-Mai and it was an absolute treat every time!
Read moreThey have a large selection of vegan meals, from asian to western dishes and even pizza! We loved their curry fries, the pizza was amazing, they don't have a single bad item on their menu!
Price to food ratio was also very good, you get a lot for what you pay, never left the door hungry!
Staff was also super friendly and helpful and they have a lot of seating, both in– and outdoor!
Location was also good, basically in the center of Chiang-Mai
Pros: Full vegan menu, Friendly staff, Good price/food ratio

Big portions but not amazing - Edit
Nice decor and really great mango lassi but the Philly cheese steak maybe wasn’t the best choice. The first few bites were nice but eventually I found myself having heart burn or something similar (which is very uncommon for me). The taste doesn’t seem to be as appealing as you work your way through this massive meal.

Amazing food - Edit
We really enjoyed eating at Goodsouls Kitchen. The black sesame banana pancakes are insanely good. My favorite bowl was the coconut yougurt one. Coffee is good, I wish they offered oat milk as well. Staff is friendly. I came back a couple times while visiting Chiang Mai and the food was always good. Never been disappointed.

Good ingredients, but slightly overrated - Edit
I liked the ingredients of the bowl which seemed to be fresh, but overall the bowl was lacking some spices and felt a little halfhearted.

Friendly, helpful, and cruelty free. They’re happy to bring out labels/containers of things if you want to verify it’s vegan, such as with the soy based oyster sauce. Thai noodles were yummy and the pancakes and coconut lassi are devine.

Mostly positive experience - Edit
We came during lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty so we got our meals quickly after ordering. I had the mushroom linguine which come with a cream sauce. It tasted creamy and fresh but I wish it was seasoned more. Of course I asked for salt and pepper which made it better but I was missing some green spices like Oregano or Parsley.
Read moreMy boyfriend had the Khao Soi which was really spicy. It had too many onions in it but it was ok apart from that.
The prices are more on the expensive side but the portion sizes justify that. It took us a while to finish and we were pretty full afterwards.

Our favorite vegan spot in Chiang Mai! - Edit
Absolutely excellent vegan food. The spinach and cream pizza was up there with the best vegan pizza we’ve ever had in the USA. They have so many Thai and western options, and tons of desserts. 10/10
