Only came here because it was rated quite high on Happy Cow. Looks like things have gone downhill. Slow service, don't accept cards for transactions under £10, didn't even attempt to offer anything vegan. Had a black coffee but it wasn't great.

We went in October and although they had oat and soy milk and made a nice coffee there were no vegan food options at all. Not even any vegan cakes. The food looked nice if you aren’t a vegan though, looked fine for veggies. The staff were nice which was a plus point. The smell of bacon was strong and off putting. The toilets were pretty awful, not clean, only old cloth towel was there as the only form of hand drying, not very hygienic.

While there weren’t a tremendous amount of vegan options (some pretty good vegetarian ones though), what they had looked very good. The coffee there is very good too and the staff are lovely. The place is nice and clean and cosy!

Creamy (vegan) mushrooms on toast, avocado on toast and at least one vegan cake make this the place to go to in Barmouth
