Unremarkable with sparse selection - Edit
I second the overpriced and overrated review. Hardly any vegan options. I paid $15 for what was literally bowl of spring. Lettuce dumped in a wooden bowl with a container of oil. No dressing. I think they splashed on some chips and onions and called it a salad. Say if you are money and buy a $6 container of lettuce at whole Foods. I won't be back.

Good! - Edit
Stopped by Good Earth to grab vegan snacks while visiting. They had a great selection, but I wish they had some pre-made to-go foods. Staff was very nice. Some things were pretty expensive.

Overpriced and overrated - Edit
The shop is great, but the restaurant is a big disappointment as a Vegan. They literally sell vegan items on the store side, but don’t use them in their dishes. I’m not sure any other restaurant would have such an easy opportunity to veganize their menu, and yet they only offer a small handful of menu items that can be made Vegan. Most dishes you have to ask for holds or substitutions. If you want to pay $26 for veggie tacos, or $14 for some arugula, beets, and walnuts then you’ll love it.

Wonderful food - Edit
They often have vegan items ... but they will modify many items to make them vegan. The food is amazing.

Opens at 11am for lunch - Edit
I would never go back as the staff is too busy to wait on you and very flippant and rude. The grocery is about double normal prices. Skip it if you have and options.

Happily Impressed - Edit
My family and I have a house in Bethany Beach, and I am so happy to have found Good Earth. My mom and I went in to do some shopping and then made a late brunch reservation for the next day. I was so happy with my delicious vegan Chickpea, Almond and celery salad sammie. I was very appreciative the server could tell I was vegan when I asked her to hold the Mayo and Havarti cheese. She then said they would use vegan bread, veganaise and plant based cheese. The server made my day and the food we all had was top notch! I plan on recommending to everyone. I can’t wait to come back in warmer Spring and Summer to see the gardens in bloom, too. The staff in the whole place were all warm and welcoming.

Many choices - Edit
Great little spot, they have many vegan grocery items, and also a few vegan accommodations on the restaurant side of things.

Can accommodate, but not vegan - Edit
The market has a lot of vegan options, clearly labeled, but very expensive. The attached restaurant has very limited vegan options. They can accommodate some items, but I was surprised at how limited the options were. Of the 41 options on the menu, only a handful can be made vegan and still constitute a complete meal. I was disappointed by this. Also, the menu does not label veggie or vegan options. Note: the chick pea sandwich, minus cheese, is excellent, but you have to specifically ask that the mayo be vegan otherwise is will be egg-based.
Read moreThis is a nice option in an area that does not have many vegan or vegan-accommodating restaurants. But don’t come expecting many options.
Pros: Can accommodate, Market has lots of vegan items, Great service
Cons: Expensive! , Limited vegan options (even with accommodations)

Great place for specialty grocery and food - Edit
I go here regularly to pick up natural grocery items. They have novelty things like vegan candy bars, organic baking supplies, frozen items, local organic produce and baked goods. They also carry vegan holiday candy and chocolate. The restaurant is a good option for a nice coffee or glass of wine and a light meal. They can be a tad pricey and I've gotten one item that I asked to be vegan and came out with honey. They quickly adapt, though and are able to make things vegan as they have a clientele with many dietary restrictions.

Great store and ambiance. - Edit
Wish there were more places like this around as the only reason I give it 4 stars is the prices are a bit high compared to the one I was going to upstate. Anyway the store has lots of cool health items, snacks, vegan items and CBD products. You can also sit and eat or hang out at the well stocked bar! There is also a vegan salad on the restaurant menu and the chickpea sandwich can be made vegan!

Best Health Food Store in Area - Edit
Born and raised just miles down the street, I am very familiar with this area. Good Earth Market is hands down the best health food store around. They have a great cafe with a very tasty green smoothie and they can make their avocado toast vegan as well. It is a small market so it's not somewhere you go full blown grocery shopping but they do have the vegan necessities: vegan cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, veganiese, butter, etc. Good Earth Market also has a great selection of herbal supplements and all natural hygiene products. They also have live music during the summer. Great atmosphere and they are ALWAYS friendly and helpful.

Great health food store with many vegan dairy products - Edit
This is a small health food grocery store. They have a coffee shop with nondairy milk options. They also have vegan cheeses and yogurts, interesting whole grains, etc.
