Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Belize! - Edit
Gomier makes excellent vegetarian meals, all from scratch. My favorite is the bbq tofu but other great options are curry tofu, hummus, lasagna, and burritos. The fresh fruit juices are amazing! Don't forget to finish the meal with homemade soy ice cream made from fresh fruit. I have been all over Belize (this is my 5th trip) and it is the best veg restaurant in the country. I would give this restaurant 5 stars but unfortunately happy cow won't allow it since the restaurant also sells seafood and they only allow 5 stars for exclusively vegan restaurants. Gomier is incredibly nice and is willing to share his knowledge of PG with you. A few important notes - the restaurant has relocated to the water front, on the southern highway north of PG. It is right next to Beya Suites in a building labeled with a sign that says Tropic Inn. Also it is usually closed at 6pm on for Friday and for lunch on Sat. Otherwise, it is usually open for lunch and dinner Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sun. Sometimes it is closed for lunch on Sun but not always. Alcohol is no longer served because the owners of the property that Gomier rents from are 7th Day Adventist.

A little bit of heaven in a veg food desert - Edit
My son, Timothy Russell and I ate breakfast there today. Good food, good juices, good prices, good vibes and a very knowledgeab;e owner. He can make everything vegan or vegetarian for you. He only added the fish to make the place more acceptable to the locals and a wider customer base. This is the only veg friendly place I found in Punta Gorda (well you can always get a bowl of rice and beans at most places but I like variety and supporting people/companies that share my beliefs).

Great Carib Dining - Edit
This has got to be one of the best mostly vegan restaurants in the Caribbean. Gomier is a rasta from St Lucia who cooks everything by hand with the very freshest and best ingredients, The setting is rustic but simple, this is the poorest district in Belize, remember, but the food is world class. Big portions, reasonably priced.

Cons: Can be noisy, Small dining room if raining, May be a wait for service if it is busy.
