All vegan in Lagos - Edit
So far the only completely plantbased place in Lagos that I found. Cappuccino, fresh orange juice and the salmon bagel were delicious, but a little pricey compared to the usual range here. But I definitely recommend the café and will try to come back despite the unfortunate opening hours.

Great “Sea” Food - Edit
I had both the vegan salmon, cream cheese bagel and the vegan tuna salad sandwich. Both were so flavourful and fresh. I have no idea if they are similar to what a true salmon or tuna would taste like because I have never tried that but for a long term vegetarian it was fabulous.

Nothing better than sugar free sweet stuff - Edit
Very friendly, quick, delicious, sugar free, gf options.
Read moreCame to Goldig for the GF pancakes but was sad to find out that it must have been an old photo of the menu because there wasn’t any anymore. Very sad. BUT we did pickup a few things that lifted our spirits! The lemon cheesecake sugar free/ gluten free was incredible, and exactly what we needed. Still had that perfect sweetness, wasn’t crumbly and just had a great taste and texture. We also got a beet juice which was by far one of the best juices I have ever had and will be attempting to recreate at home someday. The Tuna sandwich on gluten free bread was interesting, I loved how different the bread was from other GF bread I have had before.
The staff was super kind and always smiling, and made us feel welcome. It had a cute environment with some nice outdoor, shaded, seating.
Made our Lagos trip just a bit better.
Pros: Beet juice, Seating, Lemon cheesecake
Cons: No gluten free pancakes 😓

A must visit - Edit
Went for breakfast and had banana, strawberries and maple syrup on pancakes and my non-vegan husband had the cream cheese and ‘salmon’ on gluten free toast and loved it. The iced coffee was good too! The staff were really lovely. Would definitely return.

Would give it 5 stars if it were fully vegan 🌱 - Edit
A mostly vegan
Read moreVery hygienic looking open plan kitchen where the chefs & servers all happily muck in together.
People watching on the street is great fun and it’s a great place to meet people due to the large tables that people share.
The Goldig Wi-Fi is good and I often catch up on my work whilst sitting there eating & drinking vegan.
Staff need to keep their conversations down as customers can hear EVERY word.
The future is vegan 🌱

Can’t believe I haven’t been here before - Edit
In a typical cute pedestrian street a bit removed from all the other terraces you’ll find this nice little place. A few tables inside and outside and delicious all vegan items on the menu. We tried the quiche and a bagel, and of course some cheese cake after, it was so good! Delicious kombucha too, home made. Free water for customers and friendly staff.

Nice small Café with big bagels - Edit
I took the salmon bagel it was tasty, but the carrot salmon was bit too salty. On the bagel itself quite much carrot salmon was added so that the taste was little too salty and oily. Nevertheless the place was a good choose to enjoy vegan breakfast :)

Goldig's selection of awesome baked-from-scratch bread and bagels paired with fresh, colourful and delicious toppings are a winning combination - Edit
Goldig's selection of awesome baked-from-scratch bread and bagels are topped with a colourful and delicious array of tasty offerings. The ingredients are bursting with freshness and the homemade pesto topped with perfectly ripe sun-dried tomatoes was a particular favourite for us.
Read moreThese guys also have great gluten-free & sugar-free options available. The drinks list was pretty extensive with great hot drinks alongside their fresh squeezed juices and homemade kombucha. Some epic homemade cake choices were the perfect way to finish things off!
The venue is a super inviting spot on the corner of one of the charming cobbled pedestrian streets which make up the old town. Well worth a visit when you're next visiting Lagos.

Good for breakfast - Edit
Little place with vegan dishes.
Read moreI had a vegan pancake and a vegan salmon bagel. Unfortunately, the pancake was too burnt for me. The bagel was delicious, especially because the bread is home-baked.
The staff were very friendly and you can sit outside and relax, even though it's in the middle of the pedestrian zone.
Some things were crossed out on the menu. I found this confusing (is this only temporary or always the case?) and a shame as I would have liked to try some of those items.
