Good - Edit
Several vegan options available. I had the vegan döner pita. The döner is made of seitan and they offer some special extras like mushrooms or hummus. The price is a little bit high for the food experience. The kebap is tasty but also nothing very special.

Vegan döner wasn't really good - Edit
I appreciate the huge vegan menu, but the döner for 14 CHF didn't taste that great. Not enough sauce and "meat". Service was nice and reasonably fast. The price was high, but at least in the price range of their döner with meat.

Good Food, Fair Price - Edit
You can have the complete Card in Vegan. Pizza, Döner, Pide, and okay Falafel is vegan anyway. The vegan Cheese is nice. So the Pizza is really good.

3.5 Stars - Edit
This place has a vegan section on the menu, featuring items like pizza, pide, kebab and falafel. The portion sizes are very generous, and while my vegan dürüm was nothing exceptional, it tasted good and left me satisfied.

Döner - Edit
It‘s your classical döner place - with the slight difference that the owner seems enthusiastic to expand his vegan palette constantly! The owner doesn‘t always has his happy face on - but he‘s always happy to help. I recommend for an easy Imbiss 😋

The Seitan Döner is tasty, and I appreciate the fact, that I can always rely on this Vegan option, when I'm out in Winterthur.

Dry saitan with fries - Edit
I ordered a 'vegan doner plate' to go (which is usually, saitan or soy/tofu with salad and fries or rice). They asked me if I wanted it with fries or rice. I said fries. When I opened my box in the office I found fries with dry saitan. No sauce or salad. I brought it back and told them the salad and sauce were missing. They told me I should have asked for a 'vegan doner plate with salad and fries'. They don't have vegan sauces. Then they offered to make me a salad. When I asked if the dressing they just poured on was vegan they said no. So I said I can't take that salad. They then had the audacity to say I should have asked for a vegan salad.

Pros: Dry saitan

Falafel over kebab - Edit
I'm not a huge fan of their Kebab "meat", but their vegan Falafel is quite nice.

Very tasty! - Edit
Their vegan kebap is absolutely delicious! The owner was very friendly and really seems to care about his vegan customers. The price is fair for Swiss standards and the portion is quite big. I will definitely go there again and would recommend this place to others!

Vegan kebabs :) - Edit
I've been to Goldenes Horn twice now after tasting their vegan kebab "meat" at veggie world Zürich. Their vegan menu is great, I've tried the pidebrot and the fladebrot now and both were absolutely delicious. The pidebrot is HUGE and I only just finished it! Very reasonably priced as well considering the usual Swiss food prices. The owners are so lovely and seem very eager to please, and they are very proud of their vegan menu, carefully explaining to me which soy yoghurt they used for the garlic sauce etc.
Read moreWhen we ordered chips he asked if we wanted those also vegan, so perhaps they have separate fryers? Worth making sure if you get chips :)
Would really really recommend going here, not just for the amazingly delicious kebabs but also to support a business that is trying so hard to introduce vegan options. So great to see!
