Vegan Cincinnati Chili

I'm a long time vegan but pre-vegan 5 way Cincinnati Chili was a favorite. Gold Star has vegan chili, using Beyond, that makes the meal as delicious as I remember.

Chili, beans, onions and spaghetti. All vegan. at Gold Star Chili in Covington

Blast from the past.

Great option if you are missing cinci chili. Able to eat chili in a restaurant with non-vegan family. We usually (in Chicago, wife from cinci) do cinci chili at home with the packets and lentils for meat. This was a nice alternative when in town for omnivore wife to be able to eat the food of her youth

Annoying the oyster crackers have dairy.
Order with no cheese for vegan.

Pros: Omnivores will eat with you , Nostalgia, Affordable (cheap, even!)

Cons: Oyster crackers hate vegans, Not generally a beyond fan, but will allow it

Beyond Meat in the Veggie Chili

Delicious chili, restaurant well known in Cincinnati, they now add Beyond Meat into the chili and it is delicious!

Pros: Quite a few options - clearly marked , Reasonably priced, Chili chain restaurant in Cincinnati
