Read moreI only give them 4 stars as I find it expensive given the style of food. All the food is premade and set up similar to how you order food at subway or chipotle. Now let me make it clear: the food is good! Definitely better quality and tastier than Subway/chipotle. But given most of the food is already made once you get there, I would expect the prices to better reflect the situation. I personally feel the prices reflect a sit-down dining experience, but hey it’s all relative.
At the end of the day the food is good enough where I bite the bullet and come back anyway. But for people trying to eat on a budget, I think it’d be difficult to do coming here often.

Ordered delivery, so not able to comment on the restaurant atmosphere, but enjoyed my vegan chicken and potato curry as well as the vegan cheese naan. The naan was exceptional, very tender, and appreciated as hard to find vegan versions, but disappointed that it lacked the promised “spiciness” , though helped by tamarind chutney. Also, probably more choices by going to the restaurant, as only a few dishes on the online menu were labeled “vegan”, though the menu included samosas and other traditional dishes that are often vegan. Very generous portions, enough for 2 meals.

Great Indian food with a ton of vegan options. - Edit
I don’t know why it took me so long to try this place out but the garlic naan bread alone was worth the wait. There are a ton of vegan options and I would be upset at myself if I didn’t say try the samosa’s. Definitely a must try if you’re in chico.

I try to love this place, not only because of the many plant based options, but because the owners are such nice people! Alas - every time I leave there I say I won’t go back because the food is so very salty and oily.

Love This Place! - Edit
One of my favorite places to eat in Chico! (Would give 5 stars if I could!) They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options and will often switch their daily menu around so there's always a variety. The owners are very nice and will explain which dishes are vegan friendly and will also let you sample anything you want to try. They also have vegan naan and lassi!

Nice Indian Food - Edit
Nice basic Indian food, and they always have a good variety of vegan options. The owners actively work to cater to vegans. Nice cozy location close to CSU Chico, and they have a fireplace going in the winter. The Chana masala and vegan vegetable korma are really good.
