the menu is mainly vegan (I think appart from one dessert everything). Good traditional veganised food. Had the mamaliga, boršč, and some super delicious celeriac salad.
Read moreIt’s for very specific sort of costumers -wealthier or tourists, so might be bit more expensive compare to rest of Moldova. But for someone living in London it’s a dirt cheap

Great food, friendly service, okay prices. Vegans can find food in Moldova fairly easily, by asking for "post" (lent). But if you want a true vegan orientation, this is your place. It's a small place - 4 tables - up a short flight of stairs near the Chekhov theater.
Read moreThe menu is on a blackboard, but doesn't change as often as you might think - it's more a matter of rearranging the same items. However, the food is excellent, and virtually all vegan. I ate here several times, and had to make an effort not to eat there every day.
The smoothies are only okay, but the fresh juices are very good. The dinner, lunch, and breakfast courses are excellent. They also have desserts, which are good, but too sugary and chocolatey for my taste.
If you're vegan, and looking for an easy night not worrying about dinner, I highly recommend this place.

A gem in Chisinau - Edit
I was truly happy to visit this place. The food (this traditional portion I tasted) and a mint cake, were very tasty. Service is super and the staff spoke extremely good English (which just makes it even little more comfortable to visit)! Will remember this place and if I come back to Chisinau I promise to be back!

Read moreCosy interior, WIFI is available. Great fair trade Italian blend coffee. I personally recommend vegan (sessame) cream mushroom soup. Menu is full of vegan and some vegetarian options.
Staff is very welcoming.
Pros: Lots of vegan options. Free WiFi, cosy interior. , Prices are super affordable! , Definitely Go Fresh in Moldova!

English Friendly vegan eats with a lot of options. Everything was homemade and fresh. I had a Smoothie, Mamaliga dinner very filling, & amazing vegan chocolate cake was $11USD. I found it to be very great value and beautiful presentation. 2-3 times cheaper than US or Europe.

This is a new bistro that has a lot of options in the menu -and all vegan! So now no need to worry about cheese or milk hiding somewhere in the sauces)
Read moreI only managed to go there once but I was pleasantly surprised by the nice decor and the way the cutlery was brought to me.
There are 4 tables so it is not a big place.
You can try here MAMALIGA(a traditional dish made out ou corn flour). In other restaurants it os usually served with cheese, meat or fish so for vegans it is a good place to try it(it comes with vegetable saute, tofu and a souse).
The "Greek" salad was also delicious. It came with pieces of tofu.
The sizes of the dishes are not small and not very large...for me it was just enough.
The staff was polite and very accommodating.
Definitely will come back.
