The best frickles ever! - Edit
The burgers and sides at Glut were delicious. The fried pickles (frickles) were honestly the best I've ever had; super crispy, not greasy at all. Would 100% eat there again, definitely recommend.

Salt overload - Edit
3 vegan burgers (request vegan option), cauli wings and chips is an okay amount for a non vegan restaurant. Cauli wings were the best out of burger and fries. Fries were over salted and the falafel burger was so salty it was unbearable to eat. The beyond burger was okay though

Falafel burger must be the world’s worst - Edit
I’m not a fan of “fake meat” and I’d like to say I’ve had more than my fair share of falafel burgers and wraps nationally and internationally but this was a absolutely shocking. I hate to leave bad reviews but unfortunately I needed to as the world needs to understand how bad this was.
Read moreExtremely bland - tasteless with a disgusting after taste. I forced myself to eat more but I ended up stuffing chips and cauli wings in between the buns to ease my suffering. No imagination or creativity went into this burger
The chips and Cauli wings carried the meal. I left the premises heading to a corner shop where I could purchase water to wash off the taste of the burger.
Honestly if you’ve enjoyed the falafel burger from here I sincerely question your taste buds.

Pros: Cauli wings and chips weren’t bad

Great burgers! - Edit
We ordered the falafel burger, the dirty plant burger and the cauliflower wings and were really impressed with the taste. We ordered them with the vegan cheese and vegan mayo was also available. The staff was also really friendly.

Excellent burgers! - Edit
A fairly small vegan selection but really tasty, we opted for the plant burger and fries. You do need to specify vegan for the burger and you can have vegan cheese and burger sauce. Really delicious, and they have a falafel burger in case you're not keen on fake meats. There's no vegan dessert option unfortunately.

Delicious comfort food - Edit
I am personally absolutely here for the fries. Skinny, salty, hot - delicious. 😉 They were a pretty generous portion too.
Read moreReally enjoyed the dirty plant burger too, and even though they were out of buffalo sauce for the cauli wings, they offered to cobble together a nicely spicy sweet sauce that was still vegan, and it was great.
Lots of single use sauce sachets as the condiment options (with vegan mayo available), which I appreciate the need for with takeaways etc but it felt like a slightly unnecessary amount of waste, especially as it looked like the ones we didn't use were just thrown away.
A vegan option for dessert would be a great next step, and perhaps a low alcohol/AF beer option too.

The beyond meat burger is the best! - Edit
Great burger but the fries let's it down a little... Unfortunately while popping to the toilet I see bags of frozen Mccain french fries piled on the side. Would be great to see them switch it up and match gbk and byron burger which are on the same road and offer better quality chunky chips or/and sweet potato fries. The burger however is one of the best vegan burgers in Oxford, a must try!
