First of all, I want to appreciate the wide selection of all vegan dishes. There were so many options that I decided to just randomly order good-looking food.
Read moreMost of the food tasted quite nice but unfortunately it came cold to lukewarm. The staff heated everything in a microwave, but that didn't really work.
Moreover, I didn't like that the restaurant was using plastic cutlery and paper plates. In my opinion, especially a fully vegan restaurant should be aware of its ecological footprint.
The atmosphere was quite busy because the room was very small and people kept coming and going.
To sum up: The food was okay to good but too expensive for the given quality. The juice, the tiramisu, and the espresso had a good value for money, everything else was overpriced.
Maybe the restaurant would benefit from having a smaller offer to maintain good quality.

The place is quite small and cute but offers soo many vegan options. We were really impressed. We tried quite a few of them - some we loved very much (especially the cannoli) some were not exactly our taste. Overall I definitely would go there again.

I enjoyed the food from here so very much, that I came back each day during my visit to Firenze. Everything I tried was delicious. I found the price reasonable, especially considering the quality. I highly recommend. This is one of the best food spots in Italy. Certainly the service was the best in Europe.

We note this takeaway-restaurant is a little out of the city-centre. But it is an easy walk or bus ride to get there, and we strongly recommend it! This vegan restaurant is particularly gluten-free friendly, and offers a very wide variety of dishes and desserts.

The food is impressive using quality ingredients; and like many Vegan restaurants in Italy certainly appears to be genuinely home-made, likely mirroring traditional or authentic Italian cuisine, and without a doubt has real thought and heart put into the food.
It was both a joy and a delectable pleasure to find such another excellent Vegan eatery in Italy!

Very tasty, huge selection - Edit
We enjoyed our visit to Giumella. It was a bit of a trek to get there from the city centre but once we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the amount of different dishes on offer. It's a proper deli vibe, with the counter stuffed full of plates of food, all vegan and a lot of it gluten free too. We found everything tasty and it's nice to pick and choose what you fancy. Small downsides are that there is barely any seating (it's very small) and the toilet is through the kitchen, but otherwise we really liked it.

Gastronomia vegana che offre ampia varietà di piatti, tutti molto buoni e saporiti. Il costo va a peso, quindi non lo scopri fino alla fine e personalmente pensavo venisse meno.

The food was ok, it was nice to be able to choose from a variety of options.
Read moreIt was a pity that they do reheat the food in the microwave so not everything is heated evenly. My lasagna was cold on the inside while the cabbage was boiling :/
Also I hated that they use single use paper plates and plastic cutlery. The tables were not cleaned in between customers even though it wasn't busy and you have to go through the kitchen to the toilet which could have been cleaner.
So the whole vibe did not reflect the price of the food unfortunately and I wouldn't come back for it.

The restaurant serves a wide variety of delicious vegan food. You pay by weight, which for me added up to around 22€, but I ate a lot. There's not much seating, but as it's a bit outside the touristic city center, there weren't many customers.

It was a bit of a trek from the center of Florence, but I was so happy to find this diverse selection of options in Florence! The man working there was so friendly, and patiently explained what everything was (in English). Enjoyed everything I tried, but it might have been better fresh (it was pretty late at night and I had to microwave it when home). Really loved the polenta and the cauliflower/broccoli with “cheese”.

Read moreI really struggled to pick items for the main meal as nothing really jumped out at me. The protein items were old school vegan, not what you'd expect today (soy chicken bits, not tasty tempeh). Not particularly interesting flavours and heated up in a microwave.
Redeeming feature was the cannoli.
I would also note that this was quite pricey compared to other meals I had in Florence.

We really wanted to like this place but sadly we didn’t. The portions were really small and the food was served on plastic plates with disposable cutlery. It wasn’t warm even after we asked her to heat it up. In the end we payed 30€ for two rather small plates, so if you go here check the prices first.

Really wanted to like it, being all vegan. We had a variety of items, and none were very good. However, the desert was good (tiramisu and a cheesecake). Staff was very friendly. One small table outside, 3 small tables crammed inside.

Had an incredible selection of options and since you pay by weight I was able to try about half of their offerings and none disappointed! Also tried the tiramisu and for a vegan version was pretty impressed!
