Good pizzas - Edit
We just tried two different pizzas and they both tasted great. The "cheese" tasted like the real thing and there were plenty of mushrooms.

Glad it exists - Edit
I am very glad that this restaurant is open!! Don’t get me wrong but… they have to top up their game! I got the impression that the food is heated in the microwave! The risotto Di mare was cold in the outside and peeping hot in the inside. Also too salty

3.5* - A bit underwhelming - Edit
I was surprised that this one flew under my radar for a while. I was browsing happycow today to see if there was any new restaurant I still hadn't tried and I got surprised with this one.. not too far from home so I called right away to book a table for lunch today.
Read moreI get there, and it's a nice venue, with a clean look, not very fancy or stylish, but quite ok, and much larger than I expected. Staff was also quite nice and pleasant, so this is definitely a plus, even though the service was a bit slow at times.. but it's carnival day and the restaurant was full, so it's understandable.
I look at the menu, and once again a good surprise, some dishes sounded a bit "forced", like calling a Caprese to an arugula salad and then calling Romaine salad to a vegan Caesar salad.. amongst others, not that this is a problem per se, but the menu gave me those vibes of "trying too hard" to be something it's not.. but I was definitely happy to try the food.
So, we ordered the Rigatoni, the "Caprese" and some arancini. I was actually disappointed with all of them, they were mostly very bland, with the highlights probably being the cheese (was quite ok) and the pesto. What I normally use to assess whether I like or don't like an Italian restaurant, it's the quality of the tomato they use. Normally if they use high-quality tomatoes that have a real tomato taste and are not watery, it means it's a good italian restaurant.. unfortunately Giulietta failed the tomato test.
Don't get me wrong btw, I'm not saying any of the food here was bad, it's not bad, it's just that it's also not that good... it's just ok?
But I also have good news even though I was disappointed with the food, I still ordered one dessert to share, the Tiramisu of course, what else could it be? And it was good! Unlike the food that definitely needs some improvement, the tiramisu was quite nice, I would definitely have it again!
All in all, I know my review sounded quite negative, but I'm really happy that they opened and that we have a new Italian Vegan restaurant in town, why only have 1 when you can have more, right? I also have a pet peeve with places that I consider that try make it seem like they are something they are not, and here the food doesn't keep up with the venue and the image they are trying to project.. exact same vibes I get from the Green Affair and that I've posted in a previous review there.
I will be back in the future totally open to change my opinion!

Beautiful decor, lovely ambience and delicious Italian food - Edit
We went here last week for my birthday and the food was delicious. We used to live just around the corner from this area and I'm really glad to see that more vegan spots are opening up in N. Lisbon. We had the ravioli, tagliatelle and focaccia and all were quite tasty. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to going back another time.

Fantastic! - Edit
Was on a short holiday in Lisbon and luckily my hotel was very close to the restaurant so i went there more than once and every time it was magnificent. Tried the cheescake of course which was great, a great risotto dish as well but the standout for me was the gluten-free pizza, made of cauliflower dough, that was unbelievable! So good, really tasty. All the stuff there were also very nice and smiling which is very important so the whole experience was extremely positive. Well done!

The Italian cuisine of the future! - Edit
Update after a second visit
Read moreThe dough on the Future Farm burguer came very undercooked, again. Service was super slow. Not a good experience this time.
Cozy space and super friendly staff. We tried the Tofu Parmigiana and the Future Farm Burger on pizza dough, (the dough was slightly undercooked at the knot, but nothing major) both excellent though. I heartily recommend it! #Veganuary

New favourite in lisbon - Edit
Im overwhelmed at my experience here, i have so many good things to say!! Went with a very omnivore friend and he loved it too and wants to come back 🌟
Read moreFoccacia was meh, garlic bread was good but would be better with cheese, and arancini were delicious!!!
We had 2 dishes of the day, which i dont know if they’re still on the menu. Sea risotto with fried green beans and gnocchi with spinach, mushrooms and cream where OUTSTANDING. We were blown away of how good they were. Carbonara on the other hand… i dont recommend, it wasn’t anything special and I didn’t feel pleased eating it.
However, the very nice manager when took notice that the carbonara was meh, INSISTED that i had my dish changed, and offered another dish of choice… we were already happy with the service but this just exceeded our expectations. Very nice and willing to help staff! Probably because it just opened
The cheesecake was delicious!! The cookie is delightful and its very big and good for sharing. Although my non vegan friend didn’t enjoy it, i guess it felt too different.

Not italian, very processed - Edit
I went there 3 weeks after opening and I had an overcooked pasta and a plastic-like salad. My friend was there short before and had a terrible pizza experience. The manager was kind and attentive but the quality/price ratio is really not good. They have no idea of what Italian cuisine is (they weren’t even able to check the correct spelling of their dishes and I corrected them) and when I made suggestions in private messages, they said they are just fine because they want a “broader public”. I had suggested real Italian dishes that don’t need all that processed vegan cheese and meats, using beans and traditional grains that would be cheaper, tastier and more nutritious, but nope. The ice cream doesn’t taste like gelato. The chocolate cake was ok. The waiters were fine with us, but my friend had one of the waiters telling their group “oh, I’m the biggest meat eater in the world, all this vegan stuff is fun but nothing like a good beef”.

Um italiano 100% vegan!! - Edit
Fomos jantar sem reserva. O espaço é simples, confortável e acolhedor. Os funcionários simpáticos e educados. A ementa interessante e diversificada.

Great potential but in the end... meh... - Edit
I had high expectations and unfortunately it didn't deliver. Starting with the highest point: the space is pleasant, airy and well designed. The service was the lowest point. The servers, though nice and friendly, are slow, disorganised and inattentive, making quite a few mistakes (we did come two weeks into opening so I hope this improves). We had arancini and garlic cheesy bread for starters. Both good but slightly underwealmening. The mozzarella was packaged processed cheese which is fine for me usually but I expected more from a place like this for the price. The mains were OK: the risotto was under cooked and lacked flavour, the spinach ravioli was quite good. The Tiramisu was very flavourful but its a shame they use Bolacha Maria instead of a more airy biscuit to simulate lady fingers. Coffe is high quality. The bill felt high for the quality of the food. Overall, unfortunately, did not make me want to come back in spite of the positives.

O italiano vegan que faltava! 🤌 - Edit

Trendy vegan restaurant - Edit
I liked the place for it's novelty, full vegan menu and friendly staff, but found the food normal and not amazing to consider coming back regularly. It is owned by the same owners of Green Affair, so it has the same trendy vibe.
