The cafe is easy to find, not far from two tram stops. Comfortable seating, single, double, or four seater options. The owner is very friendly and understanding, and makes you feel welcome and at home as soon as you enter. Her husband is the chef. The food is delicious and we were completely satisfied with our lasagna, decaf coffee, and cake. Well worth the effort to get here from Olbia. It is the only dedicated vegan restaurant in Sardinia outside of Cagliari. Loved it here.

What an amazing place. The owner and her staff were so welcoming and warm. We got Super enthusiastic and ordered a variety of vegetables and potatoes. My goodness, we had to stop ourselves from ordering more.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant/Cafe. Eine vegane Lasagne für 5,50 ist sehr günstig und der Cafe ausgezeichnet für diesen Preis. Viele weitere Leckereien gjbt es dort auch. Ich empfehle es jedem, der ein veganes Restaurant in Sassari sucht! Echt lecker!

Wir sind total begeistert. Super nette Mitarbeiter. Wir haben uns eine Lasagne geteilt und sie haben uns die Lasagne direkt auf 2 Teller verteilt. Zum Nachtisch gab es noch ein Croissant, ein Muffin und 2 Cappuccino. Und das alles für nur 12,50€. Also vergleichsweise günstig, wenn man bedenkt was man in Deutschland in einem Café bezahlen würde. Absolut einen Besuch wert!

I've found this super spot thanks to this app and what a jem! Staff is super kind and welcoming, food is cooked with love and care. I had a croissant (wow!), and a super yummy take away for the beach (quinoa salad, potato and mushy frittata, eggplant meatballs with mayo). You won't find so many other places good like this elsewhere in Sardinia

We were warmly welcomed and had a fantastic lunch here ! The owner wasn’t able to speak English but bless her she translates her menu on google translate into English . It was cosy and still felt authentically italian. We had 2 servings of the lasagne (it was that delicious) and the tiramisu and tart for dessert - she uses organic ingredients and the tart was incredible. Worth seeking out highly recommend !!

Read moreI enjoyed one of three (!) different types of lasagna and a perfectly creamy tiramisu. The menu seems to change everyday but when I was there, everything was very typically Italian and made with love. Got crowded during lunch time but the waitress (possibly the owner) was always laughing, smiling, holding little chats with the customers while still managing to do her work fast and competent. I was only in Sassari for the afternoon but I would have probably exclusively eaten there had I stayed in town longer.

Gioia is a peaceful place where enjoy food and good vibes. No matter what time you arrive for lunch: there is always something ready for your soul! Soups, starters, nice bread, lasagna, burger and more. Everything is vegan and delicious, all the vegetables are local and fresh. Rita and Stefano (the LOVELY howners/cookers) change a lot the menu according to the season.
