Cute cafe - Edit
Really cute little cafe with a vintage feel. A couple of options for cake, and savoury rolls. Sadly no cooked items as they didnt have a chef when I visited.

Vegan afternoon tea - Edit
Booked this week for a vegan afternoon tea for 8 people. It was fantastic! Lovely selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes, beautifully presented. The staff were lovely and boxed up what we couldn’t manage for us to take home. Great experience, will definitely book again when next in the area.

Lovely little surprise veggie cafe - Edit
Very surprised to find a veggie cafe in a small town like this. Had the houmous & roasted veg open sandwich on foccacia and it was delicious! Vegan chocolate cake was also pretty tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely little spot - Edit
We've been to Ginny's a few times for breakfast or coffee and cake, and today tried their afternoon tea.
Read moreLike everything else it was lovely, great range with delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Loved the little touches with grapes and strawberries nestled in!
The cafe itself is always spotlessly clean and the staff are really friendly.

Excellent Tearoom - Edit
Excellent Veggie/ Vegan Tearooms. We enjoyed a good light lunch today - Hummus and chargrilled veg on focciatta toast and vegan cake. Dog friendly. Comes in as about perfect as possible in my view.. Will return soon.

Vintage style tearoom - Edit
The experience here was incredible, not what you would expect for a tearoom in a small village. My boyfriend had the hummus and med veg panini and I had the jacket potato with lentil and bean chilli and we shared a chocolate cake. Staff were really friendly, they had a wide range or vegan options and the food was very well priced.

Fabulous food - Edit
What a find . 4 vegans and 2 meat eaters had a gorgeous lunch here. We had the Jacket potato with hummus ,3 of us had the vegan BLT panini (the bacon is the “this isn’t “ brand), the veggie BLT and a cheese panini . We all rated the food as 5 ⭐️. We also tried the veggie millionaire shortbread , vegan Victoria sponge, salted caramel and lemon and lavender cakes, all were outstanding. Will most definitely be back

Superb café in Hawkshead - Edit
Love it here. Most things are vegan with a couple of vegetarian options. The Full English is just what you need to start off a full day's walking in the Lakes. Most of the cakes are vegan with the exception of a few, the salted caramel cake is fantastic. Lovely staff and a top chef. Definitely the most exciting café in the area.
Read morePros: Mostly vegan, Cosy atmosphere , Friendly staff
Cons: Serves dairy and eggs but it's a bold move , to have a completely veggie place in the middle of, the lakes so they should be supported!

Ginn-uine vegan & veggie delights - Edit
Such a wonderful find in The Lakes. A perfect way to spend a wet lunchtime; yummy food in a cute setting. We shared the delicious and super pretty Buddha Bowl, followed up with a vegan strawberry cupcake & a millionaires shortbread (veggie). The breakfasts also looked amazing and they use my favourite bacon (This Isn’t). Highly recommended.

Best lunch I had in the Lake District. We had foccacias (try the beet hummus and avo) it was insane. We also had the vegan lavender and lemon cake and I almost bought the entire cake to take home. Everyone was so nice.
