Excellent place which deserves 5 stars

After facing some disappointing timing during our trip—where many of the places we visited last year or new recommendations from this app were closed—I was relieved to finally stumble upon a place that was open. And to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement; this bar was nothing short of amazing.

The experience started on a high note thanks to the wonderful waiter(owner?). Not only was he incredibly accommodating and friendly, but he was also fully knowledgeable about veganism. His enthusiasm was evident as he even took the time to recommend other vegan spots in the area. His expertise in explaining their menu options was truly impressive and added to the overall charm of the evening.

We decided to try two craft makgeolli flavors: pink peppercorn and spearmint with yuza. It’s hard to pick a favorite, as both were exquisite—far better than I ever imagined makgeolli could taste. Each sip was smooth and delicious, and I found myself having to resist the urge to order more.

For food, we chose the three-carb jeon, fried tofu salad, and fried mushrooms. Initially, we worried that choosing all fried dishes might result in something too heavy or oily, but this couldn’t have been further from the truth. Every dish was prepared with the highest quality, perfectly crispy without any greasiness. The flavors were spot on, leaving us completely satisfied without feeling weighed down.

All in all, this place turned out to be one of the highlights of my return trip to South Korea. The combination of exceptional service, delicious drinks, and quality food makes it a must-visit spot. I’m already planning to return at least once before my trip ends.

Pros: Tasty vegan dishes, Incredibly friendly staff , Excellent craft alcohol

Nice vegan options

This place has such a cool atmosphere and also good food and drinks. I had "3 carbs" as a vegan option and it was very delicious. We also tried their Makgeolli, special and good.

Fancy modern Bar with small vegan dishes

The place is a bar focusing of course on drining korean specialities. The brew their own makoli (made out of rice)

Atmosphere is really stylish, modern and clean. High class place. From the greeting, service, small talk and of course the meal. This is a upper class place without being arrogant or whatsoever.

The hash brown where super yummy as well as the drink. Drink was very special.

The stone Table placed in the middle over the whole place is impressive!

Grab a few drinks some drinks with a special location with maybe a special reason for going out.

This you place to go.

Could improve in providing more vegan option would be total plus.

Pros: Atmosphere, Interior, Yummy

All around amazing

We went there on short notice since we found it through Happy Cow and it was close to where we stayed.
We didnt have any reservations but the host was so nice about it and made sure we’d still get a table. The interior is amazing and the great deep house selection sets the mood!
We were introduced to the vegetarian and vegan options paired with some magkeollis. The food was exceptional while our host explained the making of makgeolli to us. We really enjoyed our visit to the brewery and can recommend it for everyone who wants to eat a little on the fancier side.

Pros: Great hospitality, Interior / music, Delicious!

Unique and delicious experience

The in-house makgeolli was fantastic and the attentive owner has experimented with different flavours to make really delicious drinks. And then I get vegan food too! Owner was super informative and attentive, accommodating us despite not having a booking and then informing us about the makgeolli made here. Ideal spot to go to with Omni friends and have a really unique experience.

Excellent!

Amazing! The staff really know how to look after vegetarian and vegan people. One of the staff members is fluent in English and assisted us enthusiastically. He really know what he was serving and even gave us some experimental makgeolli he has been working on.

The food was delicious and he was careful to understand our dietary requirements. It can often be hard to explain your requirements in Korea, but this place was the opposite.

It's more on the expensive side, however they use quality ingredients and take great care, so the price is definitely worth it.

I would give 5* if Happy Cow allowed it

This is a must when in Busan. The place is close to the Gwangalli beach. The vegan options are great and authentic. The fact that you can drink so many types of makgeolli at a place that brews it adds a lot to an unique Korean experience. The staff is very kind and they are all aware about veganism (and they speak great English as a bonus).

Pros: Amazing Korean food, High quality Makgeolli, Lovely staff
