1.5 Stars. Expensive! (I did not like the taste) - Edit
I went together with my Japanese Friend and he was as shocked as me about the prices! It is definitely a tourist spot(scam) and i personally don’t like the taste of it. The Soba itself is nothing special. I don’t recommend

Easy order, fast service - Edit
The order is done from a tablet at the table. English menu is available and has checkboxes to easily see, if a dish is vegetarian or vegan. Directly after placing the order we got the drinks. We didn't have to wait long for food as well. Food was yummy, would recommend.

Good spot for vegetarian food. But also have vegan options. You can order via a tablet. Which is very easy to do.

3 vegetarian options, 1 vegan - Edit
It was a decent soba, but as usual not enough greens. I had the vegetarian soba with egg and grated yam. The vegan soba has absolutely nothing but the green onions, so it seems to be a bit monotone. My stomach didn't sit well after the meal, but I can't pinpoint what caused it.

Too salty - Edit
Was happy to find this place with very clear advertisement of a vegetarian menu, but the hot soba noodles we ended up getting were not my favorite. Too salty, way too salty. Points for availability in a heavily tourist area, but points off for taste.

Good vegan soba - Edit
Soba restaurant located in Asakusa. They have one vegan option, which was good but not special. Would be great if there would be one more vegan soba or some other things.

Reliable Spot for Soba - Edit
We came here because (1) it was open later at night and (2) there were clearly marked vegan options.
Read moreYou order using an electronic iPad menu and it was super easy to navigate. I went with their cold soba and fried tofu, both of which came out rather quickly. The soba was decent and they provided soy sauce for dipping since the traditional sauce contains bonito. The pieces of fried tofu were fantastic as they had been frozen over, allowing them to have a firmer texture.
If you're looking for a quick, no frills meal that still hits the spot, then Gensoba can on your list.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options

Delicious filling vegetarian tempura soba - Edit
I struggled the entire time in Asakusa to find filling vegetarian meals, now I'm not a big eater to begin with, so I can only imagine how hard it would be for someone whos looking for a big meal as a vegetarian. Their tempura vegetable Soba noodle bowl was delicious and decently priced and my partner had to help me finish it off, I added an egg (am not vegan). Wish I'd found it before our last day 😪
Read moreOnly critique, like the rest of the vegetarian food I found, was I wish it had more vegetables, but compared to some of the other places I found it was a refreshing serving.
Pros: Delicious tasting food, Good friendly staff, English and vegetarian menu

Nice and delicious - Edit
This is a really nice food place and I was really surprised that it wasn't crowded and we directly got a table. You order through a Tablet with an extra Veggie section and it's clearly marked which dishes are vegetarian and contain egg and which ones are vegan. It was really nice to finally find a good Soba soup and the taste was pretty good, filling, rich in flavor, and not too expensive.

Veg Soba - Edit
I happened to find this near my hotel while searching for dinner and there was a sign outside that said vegetarian options. They have an English menu, as well as a vegetarian section. Order via touch screen at table but staff was kind upon arrival. I haven’t been in Japan long enough to compare prices but it seemed average. I ordered the hot Gensoba (veg). Soba noodles were great and freshly made. Broth flavor was good, felt like it was the big, stronger brother of Annie Chun’s udon (and much more delicious). I would have liked more broth. Ambiance was nice and was serving primarily locals. Overall: 7.5/10

Perfectly fine Soba - Edit
Nothing exceptional here. It’s not quick, it’s not slow, but it’s perfectly fine Soba if you need to grab lunch in Asakusa and you want Soba.

Opciones veganas - Edit
