Wow, I loved this place so much. The decor is totally fabulous and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Mostly though, the FOOD! We had two tacos, the american woman burger, the chicharrones and some cheese sticks. All of which were amazing - the tacos particularly so. I often see vegan places trying to get this sort of food right and *almost* managing it, but this one really hits the spot. The menu is huge, which I appreciate and there's a good mix of junk food and healthier salads/smoothie bowls/etc. Make sure you have a milkshake, they are out of this world! It's slightly pricey, but I guess that's what you get for going to a high concept vegan restaurant in Shoreditch. It's also busy in the evenings, so book ahead if you can.

So tasty and sloppy (in a good way)! We had the American woman burgers, nachos, sweet potatoes fries and cheese sticks and were food-coma-stuffed! Which was a shame because I wanted the sticky toffee pudding! Definitely coming back! Cool decor

I’ve only ever tried the Mexican inspired dishes, but those were all outstanding! The tacos, tostada and chicharrones were fantastic - I was particularly impressed with the quality of the ingredients. Great vegan junk food (tbh i didn’t even feel that unhealthy).

The menu is quite varied and has lots of interesting and unusual dishes and ingredients. I went for the kale caesar salad which was delicious. It's a beautiful restaurant and the staff is very friendly.

Came for an early dinner with a friend. It was busy despite it being late afternoon-apparently tables can be booked too. The menu is quite varied, in addition to the junk food dishes, they also have soups, Asian curries etc. My friend had one of the Asian food dishes but wasn’t overly impressed. I had the Shawarma, which was great, and some fries, which I didn’t particularly like. You order at the counter, take a buzzer and they serve your order. Cute interior although not as cosy as some of the pictures imply. It’s also really loud, so I would treat this more as a fast food type place than planning a cosy dinner here. Still, I’m intrigued to try some other items off the menu including those delicious looking milkshakes!

Have visited Genesis twice and have not been disappointed. The American Woman burger is outstanding as are the fries. We loved the Nachos, but the best is the milkshake which is rich thick and creamy. The pink decor is interesting.

Huge selection - some AMAZING options and some that are just ok - Edit
The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun, loud, and crowded (at least when we were there at 6:30p on a Tuesday). As we stood in line to order at the counter, a worker let us know that he recommended finding a table first and then ordering (they've had people with food ready without a table in the past). We tried that approach but ended up waiting 30 minutes for food after ordering. We are still glad we waited and tried the food - I really enjoyed the avocado and smoked chorizo tacos! The chocolate milk shake was AMAZING! The jackfruit taco and the street noodles weren't that great - I'd skip those. We did end up spending £50 .

We got quite a lot of stuff for just under £23 and it all tasted really really good. They didnt have a few of the items since they were changing the menu and also they prices on the big board were different than the ones in the menu. But the food was good and the servers were nice so thats all that really mattered!!

I had the Mayan Dog, fries, Mac n cheese and the fried avocado taco. All the food was super tasty. However, my only complaint was the ketchup and garlic mayo were £1 each and were in small pots. Would definitely come back, but I hope when I return the sauce is free!

I had a sundae there. The additional toppings were interesting, but the icecream itself was not really good. I paid 7 pounds for it. The music was so loud that it was really unpleasant. They also burned incense which was not nice either. The decor was interesting, the toilets are clean. Service was rather slow considering that there was nobody else before me and there were about 4-5 members of staff on duty.

If I was rating the interior, this place would hands down get a 5...who doesn’t love pink tiles and palm trees? The food tastes really good, but the small portions are overpriced. Munching on a teeny portion of yuka chips for £5 in such a gorgeous place put me in a moderate food grump. Very reminiscent of a trip to By Chloe.

Amazing venue and good food - Edit
Most beautiful restaurant I've ever been, with mouth watering menu and the most friendly staff. We had a great hot dog, a not great noodle dish and a very good brownie. And the cheesy sticks were amazing!
