We ordered the serían ribs for starter to share and then the Genesis burger and one of the curries as mains. The food was delicious , the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had and so were the ribs.

The sides we ordered (mozzarella sticks, bbq ribs) were absolutely delicious! The mains we ordered were good (shawarma, chorizo tacos) were really good but a little pricey. The staff were super friendly and helpful - they really made it a great experience - and it was a great atmosphere!

Had the bbq ribs which were really bad, the food took so long to come out and also came out separately so after eating my salad (which was good but think they've taken it off the menu now) the ribs came 30 minutes after so I had to eat them alone and they were kind of sickening. Cute interior and friendly staff though

Saturday early eve, about quarter full. Service was fast. Really gorgeous interior, tableware and attention to aesthetics. However man was what arrived, although quickly, not worth the money. The ribs on my burger tasted gorgeous, but cold. So was the shwarma on my fellas pitta. And the chips were semi hot and stale. We didn’t have time to get replacement meals so we just ate them but a handful of chips and a burger was so not worth it for £15. Plus it wasn’t busy so why the food came out like this, m8 I don’t get it. We were going to order dessert but we saw the tiny portion someone else received and bailed. Plus for some reason an older gent serving kept hovering near our table watching over the other server and it was a bit off putting when you’re trying to have a private conversation and eat a messy burger. Bit of lack of awareness of your customers space. I don’t leave negative reviews often, I’m usually amazed by vegan places but we won’t be back here. They should to see what other places are doing and see how good their competition is.

Food was quite good – I tried the Ruben hot dog which was tasty and the chocolate dessert which was very rich. I thought that it was a bit pricey given that it isn’t table service (you have to order at the counter). Although the interior is stylish I somehow the atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. I sat upstairs and although it was nice and bright there were lots of people coming and going with delivery drivers making pickups. I also didn’t feel that the staff were particular warm. Maybe it was a bad time/day but I wouldn’t rush back (in fact I haven't - I visited July 2019 and haven't been tempted to give them another go yet).

My husband and I lived it but as a huge bonus, my kids did as well. The staff was very friendly. Have my kids an ice cream sundae as a surprise. Since my children are not only vegan but lactose intolerant that was a very special treat since traditional ice cream will make them sick.

Im Restaurant herrscht eine tolle Atmosphäre, das Personal ist super freundlich. Allerdings hatte ich mit der Auswahl meines Gerichts kein Glück, es war mir leider viel zu scharf. Mein Mann fand es aber ganz toll. Ich würde dem Restaurant auch noch eine zweite Chance geben und dann etwas anderes probieren :)

Beautiful tiles and walls. The menu is fully vegan yet the word vegan is not mentioned once... There is a range of cuisines represented. We had the shawarma (good but a bit bitter & messy to eat) and the Korean Kimchi sandwich. However they had run out of kimchi (!) so they gave sauerkraut instead which I like too. The kimchi fries were too expensive (£7.50!!) but delicious (albeit pretty salty).

Recommended to vegans who want to take non-vegan friends out. The location is very cool and instagrammable, the music was also perfect for a Saturday night. There are better, healthier all vegan places out there but this is definitely in the top 10 :-)

Standard western fast food style vegan spot - meaning not for the health conscious. More along the lines of vegan junk food and mock meat. Fine if you after a quick bite or to socialise with friends as the interiors are cool, but wouldn’t go rushing back personally.

I really enjoyed the food I ordered here ! Firstly I cannot recommend enough the Korean bbq wings they were one of the best seitan style things I’ve ever eaten, i also got the kebab style taco which had vegan donner meat, pineapple salsa and Cajun sauce which was to die for, however unfortunately my friend ordered the hoisin jackfruit one and said was too sweet. The vegan soft serve is also delicious and worth the price as an occasional treat. My only downside which is why I give 4 stars is potion sizes, the rest were okay but we got cheese sticks and they were 3 tiny ones for £6 which is a bit of ripoff, but as long as you don’t get them they’re great ! Also cute pink interior even down to the pink toilets

It seems like this has been a recurrent issue at Genesis, but on our visit the frier was broken, so we couldn't order from most of the menu (and sadly it looked like it was the better part of the menu). We waiter a really long time for both drinks and food, and when we finally received our dishes everything was lukewarm. We also needed to remind the waiters about a taco we ordered and waited 45 minutes to receive it. No, it wasn't busy, there were 3 other tables (that came after us) and 5 waiters working at the time, so not really sure what took so long (understaffed kitchen?). Anyway, not a problem, we weren't in a rush. In general the service was very weird, some waiters played blind and avoided eye contact at any cost and others came up 2 minutes after giving us the menus to prompt us to order. There was however one waitress who gave us excellent service, she patiently answered all of our questions, was happy to recommend in a knowledgeable manner and didn't roll her eyes when we asked to split the bill (appreciate that, really!!).

Guys, just get a spare frier! Or at least find a way to prepare the fried dishes differently when the frier is not working...

Such a varied menu, it was difficult to choose just one dish! Went with a few different small dishes to try as much as possible. The food was amazing, with so many flavours that I haven't experienced before or since eating meat so it was super impressive. The portions appeared small, but you definitely felt pleasantly full afterwards! Will definitely be back to try more of their menu. My meat eating friend was also really impressed with their food and options.

Food was really yummy but omg the service was bizarre. We got seated by guy who seemed to be so stoned he didn’t know what planet he was on. Unfortunately the fryer was broken but instead of printing shorter menu of items that were available we got the normal menu where 2/3 of items weren’t available and another waiter tried to explain what we could order and what we couldn’t, it was very confusing. We had to wait for drinks for really long time, in fact our main meals reached us before our drinks. And this was when the restaurant was half empty. Yummy food luckily saved this disaster of dinner. Please hire staff that aren’t off their faces at work. Stoner guy couldn’t even count the money when we paid. Lucky we were honest.
