There are a few nicer vegan gelato places in Venice, I wasn’t impressed with the selection of flavours they had, but maybe it wasn’t their best day. We visited them in July and they only had 3 vegan options of sorbets, no gelato.

Amazing Sorbet! - Edit
All sorbets were vegan and they had a dark chocolate ice cream option. We had strawberry, which tasted amazing - a mix between sorbet and ice cream. Friendly staff that knew their vegan options straight away.

Vegan options available - Edit
We had a delicious strawberry sorbet, but the rest of the sorbets on display were also vegan. There is also a dark chocolate vegan options and a vegan cone available. Staff were friendly and well informed.

Big portions and a yummy biscuit vegan cone. I had mango and dark chocolate, both were yummy.

There is a vegan chocolate as well as several vegan fruit flavors. The flavors have a “vegan ok” on the label. Not a huge selection but easy and a decent price.

Make sure to specify the vegan cone. Several options, very tasty, and rather cheap. The lady behind the server murmured something about my choice being weird (dark chocolate and lemon), which was a little rude. It was delicious to me, however, and the portion was generous.

This place is a must. Try the clearly labelled vegan options in the cabinet facing the street instead of the “vegan only” cabinet inside the store. I find the in-store options are very watery, while the vegan options (such as peach and dark chocolate) on the street side are much creamier. Huge portions!

Best Vegan Ice Cream ever - Edit
The Ice Cream is bomb. The portion is huge. The staff is friendly and lets you try the flavours. And the price is very good. Two large scoops for 3 €! Will be back tomorrow to get it again!

They have a dark chocolate gelato that is amazing and they also have a large selection of vegan sorbet style flavors in the back, including hazelnut, banana, mint chocolate, and more. They offer a vegan cone as well.

Best Flavor Options in Venice - Edit
Most Gelato shops offer chocolate or fruit flavors. Gelato Fantasy had 2 chocolates (the dark chocolate was amazing and I'm not a huge chocolate fan).. Other flavors: Almond, hazelnut, coconut, mint chocolate, vanilla, and 2 others. I also loved the coconut and hazelnut.

There are 2 Gelato Fantasy locations just a few doors down from one another. Went to the first one and they had 3-4 vegan flavors, wait staff helpfully walked us a few doors down to the other location with 8 vegan flavors! Bellissimo!!
