Good choice - Edit
Had a clearly labeled vegan bolgenese. There’s impossible burger (not beyond) but not sure if bun is vegan. Came out super fast!!! Staff was nice, like everywhere else in vail food is fair and overpriced. Kitchen closes at 10. Thankful for something tho!!

Great Lettuce Wraps - Edit
Very attentive staff from the very minute we walked in the door. Our server, Nicole, was very sweet and understood our need for vegan food. We ordered the lettuce wrap and vegan burger to share. The lettuce wrap was more than enough for one meal, although I’d like lettuce leaves a bit larger. Probably a supplier issue. Vegan burger came with a side of cucumber salad, which we added more malt vinegar to. Was a nice change in pace.
Read moreWe did find one piece of chicken in the lettuce wrap which we brought to the attention of our server. We were not looking for anything free, but wanted them to be aware of it in the kitchen. Without requesting, our server talked to the manager and they took care of that portion of the meal. Considering that we were in a resort community and our servers were all young, they gave us a great experience.
Pros: Very attentive - took care of “oops” moment, Lettuce wraps nice option , Nice side option of cucumber salad
Cons: Cook meat on same grill - but expected, Lettuce a little small/ supplier issue?

Lettuce wraps - Edit
I love the lettuce wraps, gluten free and vegan. Be careful if ordering the veggie burger, the bun is not vegan. Sports bar vibes, great views

Expensive with Basic Vegan Options - Edit
Garfinkle's is an after-ski West Vail eating establishment with a mixed crowd eating and enjoying wine and mixed drinks. However, their 2 Vegan offerings demonstrate their lack of basic knowledge or commitment to the Plant- Based lifestyle. We tried the 2 Vegan offerings on the menu. Both utilized the common industrial "meat substitute" Impossible Meat. The Burger is basic; the Vegan Bolognese (Impossible Burger bits with pasta, tomatoes, basil, tomato sauce, and garlic) is flavorful. We feel that serious Plant Based foods incorporate a rainbow of colorful vegetables, legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas), whole intact grains, nuts, and seeds. Garfinkel's can do better.
Read morePros: Friendly after ski vibe., Excellent Drink Choices, Free 2-hour parking in a nearby garage
Cons: Expensive, Industrial "Meat Subtitute" for their two items

Unbelievable level of disrespect towards patrons. - Edit
Unbelievable level of disrespect towards patrons. These managers replies to these righteously so complaints in these reviews are downright disgusting. I posted some pictures here to display how theyve treated their other customers. I have never in my life felt so disrespected by an establishment so much as to make sure to place a review on every platform denouncing the behavior of the owners and managers of this establishment.
Read moreIt seems very clear that they pay for 5 star reviews or there is some mechanism behind this bc it is just a farce. Thought there had not been such influx in reviews for them at the time, immediately after my one star review came flooding in 5 star reviews! Out of no where. The way they manage business this is just not possible and likely falsified.
Original review: Unbelievable
The worst vibes possible.
The people were not kind. The Hostess up front was very rude to us on the way in and when my friend needed to go to the bathroom.
Upholding health regulation is one thing, treating your patrons like s*** is another.
They killed our good spirits on a beautiful day. Made me feel robbed.
We sat down and immediately felt the dark vibes from the staff. Once one of our guests told us she was barked at by the hostess we immediately left.
We checked other reviews of the place to see if this was a common occurrence and apparently it is. I recommend anyone hungry and happy to go elsewhere. This place doesn't want business apparently.
I also hear the food is dirty and expensive. Check the other reviews

Okay option - Edit
Had the veggie burger (Impossible Burger-based). I was thrilled to find this option in Lionshead Village. Lionshead is, overall, terrible for vegans! Very few options with a lot of restaurants/cafes having no vegan/vegetarian options. The burger came loaded with lettuce, tomato and onions and had a thick layer of mashed avocado on it. The layer was so thick I actually took some off to offer my husband to use with his quesadilla, which came with no guacamole! My burger was served with a choice of side, I chose the sweet potato fries which were awesome!! Thick cut and perfectly crispy!!

Best place on the mountain - Edit
We regularly eat here after skiing Vail. The lettuce wraps and edamame are delicious, at dinner they have a vegan pasta Bolognese, and their drinks are delicious. Even when busy the food is served fast and the staff are very accommodating.

Ok, but nothing more. - Edit
I had the impossible burger, the bread isn't vegan so I got it with extra lettuce. The staff was friendly and checked with the kitchen which items were vegan.
