I would give 5 stars but it does not let me bc it’s not a fully vegan menu. But there are plenty of vegan options and the dishes and smoothies are so flavorful!! The service is very pleasant and sweet. Will be back!

I had wanted to try Garden Fresh Cafe as had so many positive reviews on Happy Cow and had heard so many good things about it. I was not disappointed. Several Happy Cow reviewers raved about the homemade lentil burger and OMG seriously THE best vegan burger ! The grain bun, the filling lentil burger with melted cheese and vegan mayo had me smacking my lips in delight! So good! The fries were crispy, yummy and not greasy at all. I saved room for the vegan carrot cake and am I glad that I did! It was so moist and delicious and the cream cheese icing completed it! Seriously one of my favourite lunches in Aruba for the week! If wasn’t on a mission to try as many vegan places in Aruba, would go back in a heartbeat! Yep it that good!!😋👍💚

I ate here once in July 2022. I ate a smoothie bowl and hot tea. I thought it tasted good. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and I liked the aesthetics.

Read moreOne downside was that the asked us if we wanted water which we said yes to (expecting tap water, like they serve for free in every single place in aruba) and they charged us 7 euros for the bottle. Rip off. We didn’t tip because of it.

Buddha Bowl - Edit
I got the buddha bowl here. It was pretty tasty but there were a few 'dead' kale leaves in there that I had to push to the side. Also not a very big serving so I left still feeling hungry. If I was a male, I would need two of these bowls to fill up.

I’m here now for the 3rd time. We’ve had smoothies, just egg omelet, lentil burger and build your own bowl. Wonderful, great service (a little new/green but well intentioned). Def go. Located on the street side of Playa lynda resort. Inside ac or outside, gets busy at lunch especially.

They were out of just egg option for omelette. They didn’t have many options but the Buddha bowl and vegan burger. The burger was made of lentils and was pretty good. They also made us a avocado mushroom toast.

Our first meal in Aruba was here and after a long day of traveling it couldn’t have been better. The vegan burger was delicious, as well as the carrot and chocolate cake. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I got the vegan burger and it was terrible. Flavorless bleh. Absolutely no seasoning, cold v cheese on it, and the bun was horrid. And the fries were the worst fries I’ve ever had. Ive had tons of healthy food that actually tasted good. Pretty disappointed over all. Skip this place if you’re vegan. The options are better at the place next door.

Since discovering Garden Fresh it has definitely been a go-to place when looking for a place to eat if I didn’t want to spend too much money on food. Their vegan burger is very filling and since they changed the recipe, it tastes much better than before. Only complaint about the burger is that the patty itself doesn’t have much flavor but that gets compensated by the sauce. Their vegan chocolate cake is not something I’d order again, though it is an interesting dish. The vegan tiramisu they had was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had and when I found out the stopped making it, I was very disappointed, so I’m hoping they have plans to bring it back one day.

They had an UNLIMITED vegan tasting menu that including dishes like ravioli, focaccia, burgers, falafel, hummus, tacos. They also had 2 desserts a carrot cake and a tiramisu- the carrot cake was one of the best we’ve ever had

I was impressed to find several vegan cakes here and tried their famous carrot cake -- it certainly lived up to its reputation! I also ordered a 'build your own' panini which was good but unfortunately, most of the vegan add-ons (e.g. cheese and dressing) cost an extra $2 which I think is a little too pricey for a sandwich. Still, they have a lot of good vegan options including a burger, bowl, and Just Egg omelette, which is great on this small island.

Vegan options and clearly marked, some staff more knowledgeable than others but almost everything is customisable. Mid price range and fair location. We had the Vegan burger and home made vegan blueberry cheesecake. Both very nice. Make sure you say Vegan as they will put honey on açai bowls as happened to us, they did change it for free so credit to them.

Some non veg items but offerings of bowls, wraps, paninis which you can make your own (1 protein which is limited to tofu, 4 mixes for salads and 2 for wrap/panini (can grill then as well), sauce, and vegan cheese for 2 dollar extra. Also a burger (didnt try) and zoodle dish (big portion). I believe everything was 9 dollars (11 with cheese) for the make your own and 11 for the dishes. Also a very good raw blueberry cheesecake. Didnt try the raw chocolate cake. Helpful and friendly staff (Lucason you rock!). Only improvement would be to add small V's next to the sauces to identify which are vegan as slightly confusing. Ie: zoodle dish has pesto basil but under mix your own it says (mayo) next to the sauce. I think the vegan cheese was very good but got lost in the wrap. Excellent spicy peanut sauce!

I ate here 6 out of 7 days. I wanted a nice healthy lunch, so that I could enjoy the afternoons and evenings of my vacation! (Read: cocktails and dinner splurges). The dressing options didn’t thrill me. Both vegan options are mustard based. So the first day I opted for olive oil and vinegar. After that, I ordered the papaya hot sauce, which I bought 2 bottles of for here at home! I didn’t try the hot vegan options, but there was a good variety of options.
