Plenty of vegan options - Edit
The menu features plenty of vegan options or vegetarian dishes that can be veganized. Even majority of samosas are by default vegan. The pea dhal was very tasty. One of the main dishes had smoked tofu which was quite Ok but I’d have rather had a plain tofu in it instead. Samosa dough seems to some spiciness in it even in sweet ones. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Nice but got not what I ordered - Edit
Food is good. Although, it is a vegetarian place so when I ordered a soy steak without ghee - the chef forgot it. I didn't get a new one, sadly.

nice place but not much vegan options - Edit
We ate some stuffed potato pancakes and soy strips with vegetables. The food was a bit greasy but good and tasty.
Read moreI must say that the place itself looked very very beautiful. Also very authentic if you like hare-krishna stuff.
Be warned they do not speak English, however despite that, they were helpful and found another guest who was able to translate a bit.
Pros: very nice looking place, quite cheap, food is filling and tasty
Cons: basicly only 2-3 vegan options available, no english spoken at all, a bit greasy food

Best (and biggest) Samosas in Lithuania - Edit
I've tried samosas in many different places in Lithuania on different occasions and Ganga's samosas are by far the best. Why? The size is almost like lunch-portion and the price is so low that even watery soup in some restaurants don't cost so little! Most popular fillings are: Paneer, Mashed apples, Spicy soy bits, Vegetables.
Read moreYum! Just writing about it makes me want to go to Kaunas to buy one! (or even three!)
What about the rest of the food? Great, maybe not for vegans, but it is built on Ayurvedic rules (f.x. even rice shouldn't be boiled without a bit of ghee), so why expect vegan dishes?
If you're on a city fair and you see big samosas ask if they're from Ganga and enjoy!
p.s.On Sunday mornings you can also go on the second floor - Vaishnava center - to have prasadam and the price is whatever you want to offer.

Not friendly for vegans - Edit
The restourant is quite cousy, many vegetarian meals. But very little vegan options and i asked the waitress for brocolli-peanut stew with no milk, but i got a stew with milk cheeze and some milk-made salad dressings. After that i still had to pay for the meal and leave it on the table becouse i'm a vegan.

Cons: unfriendly staff, expensive, little vegan options
