The owner speaks very good English and we had a really nice chat with her. It was also very reasonably priced - we paid €18 for 2 x tortillas and 2 x beers. If we were staying in Podgarica longer, we'd be heading back there!

Great food and family-friendly service - Edit
As everyone has said, the food is great and the owner is very nice. I showed up after 6pm (Happy Cow indicated the business closes at 6) with my 3 and 5 years olds and very warm and had no problem with the kids being kids. But you don't have to have kids to enjoy the place, the food and service are worth the trip. The food is cooked to order, so order ahead by phone or WhatsApp (the owner's English is impeccable) to avoid a longish wait.

I entered the restaurant and was immediately friendly recommended the vegan bean stew as one of the vegan dishes. The stew is fantastic and cheap! Especially with the limited amount of vegan options in Podgorica this place is a gem, which in the future can hopefully completely take the animal based dishes from the menu :)

La proprietaria era da sola, quindi capisco..
Spero fosse un'eccezione di quella sera, perché altrimenti dovrebbe esserci qualcuno in più a darle una mano..
45 minuti sono troppi, per soli due wrap.
Locale molto spoglio, c'è ancora tanto da arredare e da sistemare.
Scritte sulle lavagne unicamente in serbo.
Per fortuna il menù era anche in inglese.

There are not many places in Balkan which offer vegan option. You are lucky to find vegetarian options in restorants …and that will often be fast food. In Gandalf you have healthy homemade dishes for a little price. You have vegan and vegetarian food, but also meals with meat, so you can go there with your non-vegan friends (who need meat every day to survive) as well.
