It's OK

I was looking for somewhere else that wasn't open yet and stumbled across this place and I knew they had vegan options. The place was really busy and not cosy at all to sit there, although it is a clean and modern space.
On the counter there was only a very small avocado sandwich (slider?) which I tried, it had radish in it, was OK but nothing special. I took some overnight oats from the fridge, they were also OK but it was quite a small pot. You can't get a meal here and I didn't see any proper sandwiches. There were a few vegan salads in the fridge.
I thought they'd be more so I was a bit disappointed. They did put out a big freshly baked tray of some kind of cupcake or bun that looked pretty good but sadly I was just walking out the door.
The coffee was good.
Would do in a pinch.

Pros: Vegan things are labelled 'plant-based', Tastes OK

Cons: Could be more vegan options, Not cosy, Not all vegan

3.5/5 – Delicious sourdough!

I've been here twice – once to sit in and eat the pre-prepared food and another to buy a loaf of bread. It's a really nice place to sit in – it's got a nice white clean colour scheme and lots of seating inside and outside (note that they do charge more for eating in – as much as 20% more on some items). Only a small proportion of their preprepared offerings are vegan but they still have a few to choose from. On my two visits I have seen a spiced cauliflower and pickled aubergine sandwich, avocado and chickpea roll, chocolate and tahini bites and a chocolate and hazelnut bun. They also have a chilled cabinet with salad pots and fresh juices. They also have a large selection of freshly baked breads, most of which are vegan.

Vegan items are clearly labelled with the words Plant-Based written in green. They also serve hot drinks although you have to pay 40p extra for plant milk (they have soy or oat). Note that they bake their goods fresh so they do have more choice earlier in the day.

I've tried the spiced cauliflower and pickled aubergine sandwich and the chocolate and tahini bites and both are really delicious! The sandwich was full of flavour and I really enjoyed it. The chocolate and tahini bite was rich and moreish – I loved it!

I returned for a loaf of fresh bread and was impressed with the range. Most of the breads are vegan and they had a lot of delicious looking flavours such as potato and rosemary sourdough and an olive ciabatta. I went for seeded sourdough and it was excellent! I bought it yesterday and me and my wife devoured most of it on the day!

Update: Went back to try the Potato and Rosemary sourdough and that's also delicious!
