Serves meat, vegan options available. A la carte menu is animal-based, but vegan menu is available - ask for it. Open Tue-Fri 12:00-14:00, 19:30-22:00, Sat 19:00-22:00.
Not very friendly staff with limited options - Edit
I was very hyped to go there since they had an entire vegetarian menu on their website. This however was not true anymore when we went in October 2021. Once seated we asked the server wether it would be possible to just leave some meat aside. According to the server this was not possible though. In general the staff was quite unfriendly.
I didn't plan to come to Narbonne so I was beyond thrilled to find a spot with a vegan menu on short notice. It was reasonably priced I felt and several delicious courses. There was a tomato sorbet with basil that was unexpectedly delicious. The wine was cheap and tasty of course. Truly phenomenal experience.
I think it is because of the COVID-19 but there was no vegan menu and only 2 vegan appetisers (houmous and potatoes). But the chef made a very tasty mix of vegetables plate for me. Very friendly staff. Overall a nice experience but I would Recommend calling beforehand to check on the options available.
Lovely set vegan menu, full of flavour and the sorbet dessert was to die for!
Only problem was the starter had cheese on it even though it said vegan. However, the waiter pointed this out and I just ordered it without cheese.
A must visit for an upmarket evening in Narbonne.
Gaia is a rare find in France where restaurants offering vegan food remain scarce. The eatery is elegant, the food delicious and innovative, and the staff charming. The restaurant is very popular so be sure to book. Well priced for the quality of the food. A great find in beautiful a Narbonne with its delightful mix of youthful energy and a long history dating back to Roman times.
It is rather difficult to find vegan options when eating out in the South of France, so I was pleased to see that Gaïa had a set vegan menu. The starter blew me away: it was a slow-roasted chilled tomato soup with tomato sorbet! The main was simpler: seasonal veg with a tasty mint sauce and pea shoots. The dessert was on par with the amazing starter: almond macaroons with lemon filling served with fresh fruit and fruit sorbet. My boyfriend had meat/seafood dishes from the main menu and we both agreed that my vegan options were actually more ambitious and tastier! I also thought it was a nice touch that the vegan set menu was ~10€ cheaper than the non-vegan set menu.
Nice restaurant with a focus on locally grown and organic food. The vegan menu is a carte Blanche set which may change every day: it was very tasty and quite original as well, even the desert. Nice wine as well. A must try if you visit Narbonne!

Very fine dinner - Edit
The chef made a very creative food, vegan and glutenfree. The menu is around 25€ but it's worth it.
