My favourite Chinese restaurant in Leeds

I regularly order from this place. The food is excellent, really fresh and generous portions. They have a separate vegan menu too. It does both takeaway and a nice restaurant to eat in ipstairs too.
Tonight I had the mixed vegetable red curry which was delicious.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Really fresh ingredients , Generous portions

Absolutely brilliant

Hands down the best Chinese take away for vegans in Leeds. So much choice. If you can't see the vegan menu with their take out ones, check the restaurant ones - I found it there.

Pros: Vegan duck pancakes, Vegan chicken satay skewers, The soups

Cons: Literally zero

Best Chinese in Leeds hands down!!!

Best Chinese in Leeds 100%, amazing vegan options, with a huge range and choice to choose from! Great atmosphere, clean and always consistent with quality of food!!!

My sister lives in the States and always raves about this place, making it the one place we also eat from when she visits...

Delicious food and excellent service

Wonderful experience here. There is a separate vegan menu and even a gluten free veggie menu too. A wideThe Szechuan sauce was the best I’ve ever eaten! There is a wide choice of noodles to choose from, tons of starters, mains. Fantastic. Great cocktails. Pudding was only a mango sorbet or bowl of lychees, that’s the only negative.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan choices, Great decor and clean toilets, Fantastic service

Cons: Lack of interesting vegan desserts

A delicious treat, every time

It’s not often that a restaurant that predominantly serves omni food takes the stress out of eating when you’re a vegan, but g-wu really are great for it. They’ve had a fully vegan menu (include satay style chicken/salt and pepper fish/prawn toast etc) for years and my goodness is it good!!
I’ve had it as takeaway but also eaten in a few times and every time it has been amazing service and brilliant food.

Pros: Loads of vegan options, Really professional and knowledgable staff, Food you can’t get elsewhere

Cons: Sufficiently prices for a fancy Chinese (££)

PERFECTION

Everything was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and the food was awesome.

By far the best vegan fish we've ever had and our omni friend agreed that it was delicious!

The vegan menu is extensive so we will definitely be returning very soon to try some more great dishes!

So impressive! *5-star if Happy Cow allowed it*

This place is an all-time favourite of mine, they make their very own vegan chicken (I always opt for chicken, but they make v prawns, v fish and v duck too)
The v chicken satay skewers are actually perfect. Generous portions.
Service is always excellent aswell as the atmosphere.
They serve meat so it can also be a favourite for your omni friends and a good place for them to try tasty vegan things, potentially opening their minds towards it!

Delicious foood

This Chinese restaurant has a separate vegan menu which is extensive. So far, I've tried the veg spring rolls, "chicken" satay skewers, salt and pepper "fish", tofu and chips, "chicken" curry and Singapore noodles. All were absolutely delicious! Extra points to the salt & pepper "fish" for being obscenely delicious. Not super cheap but well worth it (although the beer isn't too pricey for a restaurant). Booking is recommended as they're often busy.

Pros: massive vegan menu, amazing food, cheapish beer

Cons: not fully vegan, often need to book
