Now called Stomping Grounds Cafe

Only a few vegan options - one toastie, a flapjack and some gelato flavours (as well as plant milk in hot drinks) but they are good. There are more vegetarian options. It is a very cute cafe with nice staff though! Would be 4 stars if they had a few more vegan options.

cheap and cheerful

I had the mushroom and avocado ciabatta, was really tasty. In our group we had 2 ciabattas, 2 jacket potatoes, 2 portions of chips, a tea and coffee and it was just under £40. Ciabatta was really tasty! surprising for a park cafe.

The staff were really nice!!

There is indoor seating, some tables outside, or you can get a takeaway and sit somewhere else in the park.

Pros: cheap, nice environment , there’s a toilet!

Cons: could have more vegan options, gave us mayonnaise in our takeaway bag
