Good mock meat!

If you are into mock meat, like chicken, duck etc...that's the place to go! In my terms, soups and sauces could have a bit more taste and spice.

Would come again

The only way I could give them more stars is if they were fully vegan. Literally!
HappyCow won't let me give them five stars because they aren't a fully vegan restaurant l.

Pros: Freundliches Personal, Gutes Essen, Einige vegane Speisen

Pros: Unglaubliche vegane Ente, Nettes Lokal

Quite good

A separate vegan menu with a few options. I tried the vegan duck and the rice balls for dessert, both were okay.

einige vegane Optionen

Pros: Gelabelte Gerichte

Wonderful Asian experience!

We ordered the "duck" with noodles and the "crispy chicken" with noodles, loved them both! Everything so delicious, a great surprise! Friendly staff, very good service, fairly priced! Highly recommended!

Pros: A WHOLE MENU PAGE WITH VEGAN OPTIONS!

Many vegan options and quickest service ever

We went there on a Saturday evening and it was a good decision to book a table before.
The service was incredibly quick, less than 10 minutes after our order the dishes were served. The food was good, very fresh and tasty. The fake duck was super nice and I particularly loved the dessert (rice balls with a filling made from beans, called Moaji).
Quite expensive meals but maybe normal for Austrian restaurants (approximately 13€ per main dish).
Especially great is the huge choice vegans have in this place.

Pros: Fresh and tasty food, Quick service

Cons: Relatively expensive

VEGAN DUCK FOR THE WIN!

The vegan duck at Fu Cheng is (in my humble opinion) the best vegan dish you can get in Linz. The crispy soy-based duck is served over ramen-noodles with fresh veggies and a soy-plum-sauce. It’s on the pricier side with 12.50€ but it’s absolutely worth it! I looks like real duck and tastes quite similar – although apparently not too much like real duck – because I’ve never liked the taste of real duck but I LOVE this version! I could eat this dish every day, seriously! Also if you are already there I can recommend you the fried tofu (as the starter) as well – super delicious!

Pros: vegan duck is the best! , beautiful interior, friendly staff

Cons: a bit expensive

Great restaurant with new interior

With its new and modern interior the Fu Cheng Noodlehouse is really worth a visit. They introduced some new mock-meat dishes, wich are delicious: for example the jiaozhi dumplings and the satey skewers.
the owners are very friendly people, who will always help you if you have questions about their food.

Pros: fake meat, modern interior, friendly staff

Great fake meat options - new interior

Fu Cheng is renowed in Linz and beyond for its fabulous fake meat options. Since the end of 2013 they have refurbished the whole place which looks very nice and clean now. They also have a new menu which comprises of many vegetarian options (which happen to be mostly vegan, just ask) which are clearly labeled.

I love the vegan jiaozhi dumplings and the fake-chicken and satey skewers with peanut sauce :D

All sauces are home made!

Pros: great fake meat options, nice staff, modest, clean interior

Cons: can't think of any

Average

The Fu Cheng Noodlehouse serves several vegan options, mostly with meat substitutes. I found the food rather average.
