The Only Other Breakfast Option - Edit
From what I could see, there's only this place and Flying Biscuit Cafe for vegan restaurants with breakfast. The only option here was the overnight oats. They weren't bad, but could have used more flavor. Also ordered a side of black beans which were really good. They offer almond and oat milk which can be substituted in all coffees.

Read moreWe could have the overnight oats. And they made the Huevos Rolandos vegan by removing the eggs and sour cream, they said they would exchange the eggs for kale but forgot, I guess. But it was a lot of beans which was nice.
They were out of the vegan oat crumble.
They made a vegan hot chocolate, which was nice.

Went here for dinner, and they only had one vegan entree, the black bean burger. The patty was big, but needed more spice and the result was bland. The tea I ordered was not hot enough but tasted good. Place has an exposed brick ambience that is expansive. They apparently have more options at breakfast.

Finding a homemade veggie burger in Birmingham is tough, Frothy Monkey nails it. Make sure to ask for no cheese on your salad, and for the vinegrette with it instead of the ranch. The coffee is good here too! Workers are very kind and accommodating, highly recommend. Like most people in BHM, they may confuse vegan and vegetarian, but are willing to right orders if they come out wrong. Highly recommend
