The best food I ever had

I'm not exaggerating. This is based upon one visit, and we had starter, main and dessert. It was heaven in a mouthful.

Pros: starter, main, dessert

Cons: expensive, but it was worth it

Mostly Great

You have to go downstairs from the Store front to get into this restaurant so there is no natural light which is unavoidable, but a very nice ambience. We were taken to the bar to wait for our table where the barmaid made a fantastic cocktail. The menu is very simple, everything is vegan and it contains 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts which change monthly. I ordered the Aubergine Marscapone and my husband ordered the garden salad and both were absolutely fantastic. The best vegan meal out I have ever had, 10/10 for taste and the presentation was beautiful. The waitress who brought our food also took the time to explain the dishes to us when we were served which was a nice touch.

The only downside is that when we had finished our mains our plates were quickly taken away but then nobody asked whether we would like the bill or dessert. We would have liked dessert but after waiting 20 minutes for someone to come to our table we were presented with the bill without having asked for it which didn't make us feel very welcome.

We decided to take a couple of the desserts on display to go and they were all excellent also.

Despite the odd service would 100% recommend. The food is somewhat on the pricy side, even for Oslo, but it is delicious.

Pros: Exceptional food, Everything is vegan, Takeaway desserts

Cons: On the pricier side, Aspects of service need work
