Nice aubergine - Edit
That was the only vegan option for me (had to specify no cheese). None of the pasta dishes was vegan. I’m not sure if this was really vegan friendly. Pricey.

Only good thing is the hours - Edit
There is only one vegan main, and it's the gluten free pasta with tomatoes, basil and avocado. (The normal pasta contains egg). The portion was tiny, the avocado was hard, and the flavour was ok. The people next to us were enjoying a much bigger non-vegan pasta meal. The price is way too much for what it is.

I arrived to Warsaw a bit latish and was happy to find Freta 33 open past many other options to have a vegan dinner. Although not a vegetarian or vegan restaurant at all the options are totally sufficient in my view and the dishes I had very extremely tas - Edit
I had one of their daily soups as starter which was basically a light minestrone with chickpeas, aubergines and carrots - and extremely tasty. Comfort food after a day of travelling. And then I had a simple gluten free pasta dish with fresh tomatoes and avocado. Simple yet tasty. I can also confirm that they really use very fresh produce. Definitely recommended if you're in the old town!

Good but dont go out of your way for it - Edit
To be frank, Warsaw has so many vegan restaurants, you could do better…. Having said that: we found this restaurant on Happy Cow and it was already kinda late (21:30); most places in this city closes by 21:00 and we were hungry. So we headed to Freta 33 and I am not saying it was bad, don’t get me wrong! Just by tasting their humble vegan selection, you could tell they use amazing produce and products, trust me. The best dish was a simple tomato bruschetta that blew our minds; they really do know how to make the best of their products. The rest of the dishes we've sampled were nice, but still – if you are hungry and it's not too late… you can find a place with a wider selection and a more creative menu.

Great location - Edit
I give this restaurant 4/5 stars because of the good location. It's located in/close to the old town. They had a few vegan pastas. I ate a pasta with tomato, garlic and spinach, very delicious. They have tables outside so you don't have to sit inside. It was so cozy to sit and eat on the busy street and a guy played music on the other side of the street. The food wasn't something special but if you don't find anything else while in old town I could recommend it!

Delightful surpise close to the Old Town - Edit
Freta 33 was a delightful discovery in a quite touristic street close to Warsaw's Old Town.
Read moreThe restaurant in itself is very pleasant, especially if you get a table in the terrace outside. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
As concerns the food, they use organic and local produce and spring water. The dishes are very creative, unpretentious and absolutely delicious.
While the menu only marks gluten and milk allergens, there are many vegan items on the menu or items which can be made vegan by simply not adding cheese.
I had two types of bruschetta (olives and tomato), zuchini flowers, and millet with mushrooms and blck lentils and it was brilliant. Unfortunately no vegan dessert.
They also served a complemetary jar of water with lemon and bread with olive oil for starters.
A nice surprise, very recommended.
