We went here for diner. The food was good, but not extraordinary. It appeared that the dishes were quite small so that you could share multiple dishes with each other, but since the dishes were 13 euros on average (between 10 and 16 euros I think), we found this really expensive. We also paid 7,50 euros for a bottle of water.

Read moreHowever, it tastes great. We’ve been there a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Well, the prawn noodles was a little blend once, but other then that we have always enjoyed everyting. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

I was with a party of three and we chose dishes to share - all very flavorsome and felt like fine dining. I Liked the Hoisin duck in particular. Friendly staff as well. Quite busy on Sunday evening.

Delicious food! We tried a ‘surprise menu’ and were indeed pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff. Location not hard to find. The tables however are really a tad too small to dine comfortably and the space between tables is so limited that you are part of the conversation of the people next to you. The food however is highly recommended.

Een volledig vegan kaart. Dus er is genoeg te kiezen. Niet alleen de standaard vegan gerechten, maar ook net wat andere opties. Zoals eggs Benedict of crispy duck. Ik zou nog wel een keer terugkomen om nog wat van de kaart te proberen.

Quite sophisticated food for a small café - Edit
I tried soup of the day (celery and fennel puree with radish sprouts), katsu sando (sandwich with breaded tofu and “egg” salad) and matcha cappuccino. All of it was excellent. The portions were not very big but I found them appropriate for the price. The staff was very forthcoming and attentive. Lovely outdoor seating area in a small square. I’d definitely come again. Just didn’t like that they don’t advertise as vegan or plant-based. Probs a lot of accidental guests didn’t even realize.

It was really nice to eat at Fret when spending the day in Den Bosch! It was a very cozy place with a great atmosphere. The food was also really tasty, however the portions were not too filling and a bit dry which made the price a bit on the expensive side.

Nice vegan cafe in Den Bosch - Edit
This was a really good place in Den Bosch. The lunch menu has varied choices and it was really nice to see several mocktails and alcohol-free options listed among the drinks. Tehy also have a separate dinner menu that looks good, too!

Great place. Really cute cafe, very helpful server who was able to help with the menu. We had hot dog, cauliflower wings, fish & chips. All delicious. The ‘fish’ is banana blossom & comes with a delicious tartare sauce. Because our mains were so good we also ordered desserts & coffees. Lemon & poppyseed cake and a lemon macaron & iced lattes. All wonderful. We loved our meal here & plan to come back to have more of the menu

Ik ben nu een aantal keer bij Fret geweest en het eten is elke keer weer heerlijk. Elk gerechtje is vol van smaak en goed bereid. Personeel is ook super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Echte aanrader, 10/10. Zowel leuk voor lunch, diner en borrelen.

Bitterballen was really good and so was the chips! Best chips. Also had watermelon sashimi and korean hotdog. It would be good to have an alternative to the shared dishes and be able to order larger portions for when you are really hungry or forgot to eat and need lots of nutrition fast
