An afterthought

A friend of mine took me here and I really liked the interior and the decent coffee with the plantbased milks at the same price as cow's milk, but unfortunately the other vegan options were just an afterthought. The only options were a vegan cinnamon roll and a vegan toast. They had many other baked goods, even homemade ones, but all of them contained animal products. Even if you order everything vegan, you still get a non-vegan cookie with your coffee.

The toast was flavourful: the spread tasted like capers and they used some spices for the cauliflower. The bread however was the same kind as the industrial bread that you would buy in a plastic bag, and even though it still tasted nice as a whole, to me it felt more like a snack. For lunch, I need more than a single slice of processed bread cut in half served with some vegetables, and I would also love some more texture & bite. This place has potential, but for now, the vegan options just seemed like an afterthought.
