This is a large bakery cafe producing all kinds of vegan bakery items. It is based on self-service, so you choose your food, order at the counter and pick it up yourself.
Read moreThe menu includes sweet bakery items like cakes, croissants and cookies, to sourdough breads, savory sandwiches and tray-baked sourdough pizza. Prices are somewhat high compared to regular bakeries in Berlin, but all ingredients here are from sustainable farming.
Overall, bakery items were professionally made. Items with puff pastry were crispy and flaky, greasy and indulgent. Particularly, the pistachio cream-filled croissant was amazing!
The only thing I didn't like were the coffee-based drinks.
The cafe is located inside a corner building and offers plenty of seating options. The restrooms are spacious and clean as well. It also appears to be a child-friendly place since there were several customers with strollers and the restrooms is equipped with a diaper changing table, too. #Veganuary

Excellent bakery with self-service - Edit
One has to know that this is a place with self-service, so you can be in and out really quickly - if you don't have so much time thats a plus, if you want to relax in a cozy place, this could be a little too busy for you. The croissant with pistachio filling was our favourite.

Best vegan bakery hands down - Edit
This is absolutely the best vegan bakery I've ever been to. Today we had the croissant and the vanilla creme pastry - both the best I've had. The self service thing doesn't bother me as it means you get your food instantly which is what I'm looking for if I want a quick pastry and a drink. Will be back (probably tomorrow because I'm desperate to try the cardamom croissant)..

the staff is quite rude and condescending, the self service is a chaotic mess. I've come back a few times and I'd love to love this place because the food and concept are wonderful but even for Berlin standards this place really needs to work on its FOH.

Best bakery in Berlin! - Edit
During our stay in Berlin we went here three times for breakfast. We tried multiple sweets, our favorite is the cardamom croissant. Crunchy and sticky from the outside, soft from the inside and a good amount of spice. We also tried some dishes from their menu, porridge, rye bread and the flatbread. The flavors are outstanding!

Hazelnut croissant - Edit
A friend suggested this place and we came here with high expectations. The waiting line already revealed that this place must be worthwhile. We went for an assortment of different sweets. The hazelnut croissant was our favourite by far, with a creamy hazelnut/praliné filling. The pistachio croissant was way different with more of a pudding filling, which was ok, but incomparable with the level of the hazelnut croissant. The vanilla creme spandaver had a similar pudding filling with vanilla flavour and a fluffy dough that turned crispy on top, which was really nice. The brioche was also really fluffy and flavourful. We also tried the cacao butter maritozzi, but it tasted more like banana than cacao butter and was a bit too buttery & heavy for me. Same for the hazelnut chili tarte, which was interesting but a bit heavy with the cream frosting.
Read moreI came back for the hazelnut croissants 2 days later only to find that they were completely sold out, so make sure to go early if you still want to have all of the options. Luckily, the brioche was still available.

The food tasted really good. A few different sandwich options and 10 sweet options in a nice location. Would have given five stars for the food alone.
Read moreThe self-service aspect is kind of a bummer though. You have to go to two different stations. One for food and one for drinks and then they do not even gather all dishes to be taken in one go but you have to go to each several times.

This bakery has a lot of delicious food. I specifically liked the hazelnut croissant. You can choose from pastries and breads at the counter or other food that they prepare specifically for you (like avocado toast). There is a very spacious place to sit inside. It also has seating outside.

The brioche was just best my husband and i ever tasted. We've had the savoury plate (different bread types, first-rate hummus and peppers) and the sweet plate. It was a great choice to explore the menu, highly recommended.

Came early on a Saturday morning to pick up some breakfast before my train. I purchased a croissant, a sourdough Brötchen, an oat flat white and the fresh juice. Came to €13 which I think is very reasonable.
Read moreI enjoyed everything! The coffee was one of the best I have had in Germany and the baked goods were amazing. Highlight for me was the fresh juice (I can’t remember what was in it). I’d love to come back for a sit down breakfast to try the menu if I come back to Berlin.

My mouth is still watering remembering how the hazelnut croissant tasted! We also had a delicious cardamom croissant and the avocado toast. Delicious and beautifully presented! I’ve really never seen such beautiful avocado toast. The employees were all very helpful. I wish we had a bakery like this near us!
