Good food and excellent drink

The service was great. They dress up their Impossible Burger with vegan mozzarella, and it was better than without, but avocado would have been even better. Love their drink menu. I was driving, so I had the Black Cherry soda (with cane sugar), which was possibly the best soda I've ever had.

Great options and knowledgeable staff

Their impossible burger is always amazing (hint: order it with the house-made pickled jalapeños) and the fries are great! The staff is well-versed in what is and isn't vegan and how to modify menu items to make them vegan.

With the extremely limited options for vegan menu items in Grand County, it is really nice to have a place to rely on with consistent quality and excellent service! Thanks, FVD, for caring about us!

...And the cocktails are unbeatable!!

Pros: Service, Food, Drinks

Cons: I don't live closer

My go-to place for a vegan meal

Their fries and impossible burger are delicious! Grand County has limited options for vegans and Fraser Valley Distilling is my go-to restaurant. It has options for vegans...not only options, it's top-notch food. I get the impossible burger with fries about once a week. It's delicious and consistent. And yes, I get the same thing everytime but it's delicious and worth it.

Pros: Delicious , Consistent , Decently priced

Closest veg option to train

Came in on the Amtrak, wasn’t clear which places nearby had any vegetarian and vegan options. This one does!

Pros: $7 sampler flights , Easy to get to from train , Yummy appetizers

Cons: Full meal option is just the impossible burger

Lackluster

They have a few options for lunch/dinner service. Impossible burger, standard salads and bar food that can be made vegan. Occasionally have a special that is usually pretty good.
Sunday brunch they have hash browns that can be made vegan, and a few other salads. Was excited but that was quickly thwarted. They have biscuits and impossible gravy, but for some random reason they put cream in their gravy. Your guess is as good as mine.

Their citrus, turmeric and gin cocktails are very good. Best thing on the menu.

Pros: Only place in 50 miles for a vegan burger, Citrus cocktail, Outdoor seating

Cons: Eh… cocktails, Eh… food, CREAM?! IN GRAVY?! WHY THE FU—

Inconsistent Service

Food/kitchen seems to be an afterthought. Tried to eat here multiple times unsuccessfully. On Sunday afternoon they said it was too hard to make food after brunch, so they just don't. Then they're closed most of the week. Then called on Thursday and was told the kitchen didn't feel like making food that night. If you do happen to be there on a night when the stars align and they're open and the kitchen feels like making food the Impossible burger is good, and the setting is gorgeous.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry about the inconsistencies. We are closed for 3 weeks every May and November. And our Sunday hours are Brunch Only, it is a special menu that our locals and visitors love! Due to staffing, and always wanting to provide quality food, we are unable to offer take out at all times. We hope that you can give us another try sometime in the future! We will always have the Impossible Burger as a menu option :)
