By far the best pizza i've ever had! 5* - Edit
Despite Frankies being pretty central in Sorrento, you'd struggle to find better service and outstanding pizza at a reasonable price. As far as I'm aware theres also nowhere else nearby that serves vegan options with cheese (including a ricotta variety) on pizza. They serve the food impressively fast at no detriment to the quality.

The vegan gnocchi and aubergine parmigiana was also great, incredibly cheesy.
They also accept card and no service charge and have a decent toilet.

The Pizza Marinara is large and very good. Owner is from Naples where this originated. Gnocchi also very good; comes with great tasting vegan cheese. We went twice in a week. It’s informal .

Lovely staff, in a great location and super options for vegans, gluten intolerant, veggies and lactose intolerant. I ate gnocchi with 'cheese' and tomato sauce, which was delightful and had the cheesecake for dessert. It was okay, not amazing but pretty good and alongside a smoothie was ideal!

Went to Frankie’s 4 times during our week in Sorrento it was so good. The gnocchi, spaghetti and ricotta pizza were our favourites.
Read moreUnfortunately one of my meals had real parmesan on it and I didn’t not know it was not vegan until another night when I was told they didn’t do vegan parmesan. But mistakes happen so would still recommend.

Best vegan options in Sorrento - Edit
Frankie’s uses a variety of vegan cheeses which allow you to enjoy dishes which you would otherwise be unable to. The food is lovely and the pizza bases are the best we’ve experienced all holiday! Trying the vegan cheesecake is also a must!

We've been there three days in a row. Staff is very friendly and knows about veganism. Food is delicious including gnocchi, eggplant parmesan, a vegan burger, and you can veganize every pizze by substituting cheese with vegan cheese or vegan ricotta. Tip of ours try the vegan cheesecake. Amazing!

Heaps of the pizzas can be made vegan. We've had 3 so far and all are amazing. Gnocci and Chickpea salad are also really good. The vegan cheesecake is delicious! Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about vegan food. I'd love to see more vegan pastas though that's my only complaint!

Has several vegan options. Tried Aubergine Parmigiana with Vegan cheese (very good) and a couple of different Pizzas (Vegan cheese is an option). Had a Vegan Pizza Sicily (I think that's what it was called) which had Vegan Ricotta (Violife) - Not had Vegan Ricotta before and I was amazed at how creamy it was. Asked the staff where they got it from and will be looking out for it back home.
Friendly staff, good value.

Found Frankie's on TripAdvisor after visiting Sorrento on a cruise... I love they cater for vegans like me. Ordered houmous and crudite, Marinara pizza with a side of chargrilled vegetables. The houmous was delicious and the pizzas are amazing..the sourdough base proved for 48 hours is the best ever as is the marinara sauce. Best Marinara pizza I've eaten and I have eaten lots. What a great find..highly recommended. I could not manage a dessert but they had a vegan cheesecake on the menu which was also gluten-free so every diet is catered for. They also have vegan cheese and vegan ricotta. Owner Frankie and Luca at front of house are great folks too.

Great night at Frankie’s - Edit
Had a great night at Frankie’s bar this evening! Ordered gnocchi sorrento style with vegan cheese. Was delicious and came with bread on the side. Very cheesy. Other vegan options included a vegan ham and cheese appetizer platter, pizza with vegan ricotta, vegan eggplant parmesan, salads, and more. Vegan cheesecake on the menu for dessert and I didn’t get to try it but it looked delicious. Gluten free options as well. The prices were very reasonable and less expensive than most of the places I have visited in Amalfi. We were allowed to pay individually which is not common in Italy, and there was no cover/ service charge, both of which were nice perks. Frankie the owner was so nice and chatted with us for a while after we paid. If you are the first customers from a new location he will take a polaroid picture with you for his wall!

This is the best vegan food in Sorrento, vegan gnocchi with vegan cheese was delicious and lemon seitan with a side of sautéed brocollini was outstanding. Will be back to try more!!
