Attentive, Creative, and Delicious - Edit
If your dining experience at Frankie We Salute You is anything like mine (and I hope it is), you’re in for a treat. The restaurant is stylish with COACHELLA-inspired tunes playing in the background and hip, informed staff. I started with the Charred Broccoli Caesar. It was simply delicious - the sort of dish that finds you longing for more when you arrive at the last forkful. It made for a great appetizer (note you can order as a main too it seems). The romaine was crisp, the broccoli diced and charred, the dressing tangy, and the croutons were pan seared Tempeh. For a main I ordered the BULGOGI Mushrooms and this was a really interesting dish that combined a variety of textures (from oyster mushrooms to sticky rice). This dish might not be for everyone as it’s a bit experimental. The sauce was plentiful and had a bit of a kick to it. The portions were generous on both the dishes I ordered. Ended the meal with a lemon truffle. $39 Cdn including tip.
Read moreReturned the next night with friends and tried the Chickpea Fries as a starter and the Mushroom Burger as a main - both really good. We all agreed the Lemon Meringue dessert was okay, not great.

best lunch deal ever - Edit
Lunch deals that are fast and fresh! Especially when local food is ripe, but any time of the year this lunch soup and sandwich will blow up your taste buds. The food just seems so fresh and well put together at FWSY. Big colourful plates take healthy AND delicious to a new level.

Incredible food, atmosphere & service - Edit
We went to Frankies on Valentines Day 21’. They had a sushi deal which had a tomato nigiri, “mountain of love” which had puffed rice on top. All of the sushi was delicious and the sauces were mouth watering.
Read moreWe also got the lettuce wraps, as well as the chorizo bowl. Everything was delicious and decent portion sizes.
Not only was the food incredible, but our server was amazing and was attentive to anything we required - probably one of the best servers I’ve ever had whilst dining.
You get what you pay for, this is probably the best vegan establishment in Kelowna and I’m so glad that we were able to visit.
Pros: 100% vegan with many tasty dishes, Delicious cocktails, the Caesar was amazing, Our server was incredible

Pretty much vegan restaurant - Edit
The service we received was impeccable by Emily. I had an amazing moon juice to start, with tacos and beat Bubba. Everything was delicious and incredible. My husband and I enjoyed the Ramen and Bolognese, which was pretty good too. The chocolate truffles accompanied with Frankie‘s Bailey’s on my top choice for dessert. The decor is modern and clean. The music choice was appropriate.

The service, the food and the ambience was so incredible. Some of the best food we’ve ever had. Such original options with so much flavour and really reasonably priced as well. You have to get the Vegan Carrots on Toast, beyond words.

Five Start Beach Take Out - Edit
My wife and I met up with some old friends from our hometown that now live in K-town. They suggested take out from Frankie and a picnic at the beach.
Read moreWe ordered the Frankie Burger, the Chorizo Bowl and the Cauliflower Tostadas. Even after the transit to the beach the food was stellar.
The tostadas were a great combination of textures and flavors. I would get them again in a heartbeat. The burger was good, one of the better vegan burgers that I’ve had. The fries the came with it might shave been a the best thing. Nice and crispy with a great salty and savory spice blend tossed on them.

Beautiful presentation, fresh as can be - Edit
We had to wait 20 minutes to sit for lunch on a Tuesday in December but it was VERY worth the wait! Amazing service. The food is picture-perfect. Always fresh, hot, and delicious. As a previous seafood lover, I adored the carrot lox on toast. Almost everything on their menu can be made vegan. Must try their juices and lemonades. Their level of detail has been perfected. Although, be prepared to wait, as they are often very busy.

Best Staff Best Food - Edit
I couldn’t love this place more! I’ve been going since they opened and the staff are always sooooo friendly. What a relief to have another spot that isn’t judgy and stupid to vegans. I also have serious allergies to onions and garlic, which makes my life suck. It’s easy at Frankie’s because staff are great and they have a detailed allergy sheet which is awesome! Best food in the Okanagan by far for vegans

Creative dishes, fun vibe - Edit
Fun lunch place, but I wasn’t blown away by the food. The dishes were creative, but portions were small & lacked sauces. The fries were so salty we couldn’t eat them. Glad to see more vegetarian places locally but for the price I expected a bit more.

Best Vegetarian and Vegan Spot in the Okanogan! - Edit
I’m so happy to have a spot with a cool vibe, great drinks, and beautiful food when I’m in Kelowna for work. We liked it so much we went twice in 2 days! I googled the chef (Brian Skinner) and he has won so many awards and accolades no wonder the food was so good!

If your going for brunch be sure to try their lemonades, the chickpeas fries, sweet corn queso, and french toast, for dinner you can't go wrong with their pasta and amazing desserts! (Best to go with friends so you can try it all :-)
Thanks, Frankie, I Salute you!
