Miss - Edit
I had the vegan English breakfast and was quite a disappointment - it looked more like a big plate of roasted vegetables and it didn't taste great.
Read moreThey had only 2 vegan options so not a great choice.
The inside looked nice, and the staff was pleasant.
Pros: The decor, Service
Cons: Lack of options, Poor quality of food, Overpriced

Has a nice variety of vegan breakfast and sandwich options. I tried the lentil pâté, spinach and cranberry sauce panini and it was lovely!

Has potential - Edit
Only two vegan sandwich options which isn’t a lot, I would definitely say it’s overpriced even though it was tasty

Expensive and needs more vegan options, but tasty - Edit
Maybe the nicest ice mocha I've had but probably won't go back because I feel 50p for alternative milk is outdated and £4.50 for a coffee should be illegal.
Read moreMaybe I'd get the food again if they increase the vegan options.
Pros: Enjoyed my vegan platter , Delicious ice oat mocha
Cons: Expensive , 50p for alternative milks 🤮, Should have more vegan options

Favourite gems in Notts - Edit
One of my go to places in Notts. Super tasty vegan options and the staff and super lovely. Some used to work at Alley Cafe so they know how to make great vegan food.

Cute cafe - Edit
A cute cafe with friendly staff, had a nice little spot in the sun. Tried both the vegan paninis which were tasty and had the green smoothie. Maybe a tiny bit expensive for what you get (£6.45 panini £4.25 smoothie)? Looked at the cakes but there was only 1 vegan option or a flapjack

Lovely 🦊 - Edit
Been several times and always a delight. We’ve had the vegan mezze board and vegan breakfast, both very tasty and beautifully presented (we both especially liked the lentil pate!). Great selection of cold drinks. This place is popular (unsurprising given the quality of food, location and entire cafe being decorated with foxes), but as a party of 4/5 we’ve always managed to squeeze in somewhere! Staff lovely. Sure we will be returning again and again.

Could be better - Edit
I’ve only had the vegan breakfast, hot drinks and some cakes here. Its fine for a coffee and cake but the vegan breakfast is very bland and uninteresting. Raw spinach and fried veg with little seasoning for £7 can get much better elsewhere in the city for less. The lemon and pistachio is fab though!

Lovely little coffee shop - Edit
Didn’t eat here, just called in for coffee. Had a lovely oat milk latte. Defo want to visit again though and try their food, the vegan options all sound lovely. Super friendly service, dog friendly inside - they bought a bowl of water and made a fuss of our little dog

Nice but not amazing - Edit
Very limited number of vegan options. Food took ages to come, ordered the humous and roasted veg panini, which included hardly any roasted veg. Nice quaint place, good place to come with non-veggies as do a variety of sanwhiches and paninis.

Lovely little cafe - Edit
Stumbled by accident across this place, saw the board advertising vegan options and decided to pop in for lunch. The cafe was very busy but has a really welcoming feel to it. Staff were able to point me in the right direction of what was vegan. I opted for the lentil pate panini and carrot cake, both were delicious. Soya milk also available for drinks, latte was really nice too. Prices reasonable, I'll definitely be returning.

lovely different food, coffees and a cake - Edit
We had the vegan board which included lentil pate, houmous, roasted veg, sundried tomatoes, olives, rocket and carrot sticks with some sourdough bread (is the sourdough vegan? Now I realise I should have asked).
Read moreSoya lattes were nice but quite strong.
Only one vegan cake was available - on questioning if this was the only vegan cake, the server replied 'yes but these ones are gluten free...' What?!
So, we did enjoy the food, healthy options for mains as well as vegan breakfast/brunch.
Pros: outdoor seating if you have dogs, healthy food, lots of vegan options, soya milk and a cake
Cons: one staff member not quite aware of what vegan is!, sourdough bread on vegan items, maybe my ignorance

Not bad, but not excellent - Edit
My non-veg mum and I were visiting Nottingham so I found the Fox Cafe via Happy Cow. We first passed this place on a busy Saturday afternoon - we didn't go in as it was packed - a good sign we thought! We decided to return on Sunday morning for breakfast (helpfully, the menu is on their website). It's nice that it opens a lot earlier than many other local cafes on a Sunday. However, despite us being the only customers the food took almost half an hour to arrive (we got there around 9:30am, an hour after opening). When the food eventually arrived I was given a 'side' of strawberries (nice!) as they'd run out of hash browns. They asked about sauces so I asked for ketchup but this never came. The baked beans (advertised on the menu) were also missing and there was no offer of vegan butter/spread for my very dry toast... I was planning to ask about this and the beans when they came back with the ketchup but in the end we just gave up waiting - we were sitting outside so it's perhaps more understandable that we were forgotten. Despite these little issues the staff were friendly, and I tried a soy milk flat white which was good, though more like a latte if I'm being picky.

Vegan panini and sandwiches - Edit
A table service cafe, but quick service even on a busy lunchtime - about 20 mins from order to table. Several vegan options including vegan hot paninis and cold sandwiches. Soya milk available for coffees etc. Blackboards offer vegan options but the menu isn't labelled, although friendly staff are clear about what's vegan.

Cons: Menu doesn't label vegan options
