Sweet surprise! - Edit
What a lovely family-runned business. This is definitely not a restaurant as one imagines, but they‘re cooking has amazed us! We got super lovely popcorn as a starter, homemade lemonades (with reusable straws we think - AMAZING!!) and then a very lovely creative dish (rice in a lemon-sauce with strawberries). Thumbs up! Also we liked that there were not millions of menus to choose from but rather what was available on that day.

Vegan waffles - Edit
We were a bit late for lunch so the vegan daily special was finished but we were made welcome and offered a choice from the main menu. I opted for the waffle with hummus, avo and smoky coconut bacon. Tasty and beautifully presented, the spiralized courgette salad provided a good balance. There were vegan options for the sweet waffles - we couldn't resist trying those as well. Even better than the mains. The apple and raspberry juice was particularly good too.
Read moreOverall I felt the food was good quality and prepared with care. Brussels isn't the cheapest city to eat out in and I felt the prices were reasonable for the quality.
It's not far from the European parliament so handy if you are visiting that part of the city.

Awesome savoury waffles and salads! The place is super cosy and well located in trendy Ixelles.
Read moreNote: the place is almost entirely vegan - sadly, their average customer is not, so they don't advertise as such, and get back to serve salmon on their week end brunches :(
