Great vegan lunch choices

I love their wraps and prepared salads. My favorite wrap is the soy curls, so yummy but they also have like 3 others. Don’t forget the prepared salads as well. One of the best vegan options in town.

Surprisingly decent prepared vegan options

The deli section usually has at least 3 prepared vegan sandwiches / wraps. I usually try to support the Natural Foods store in town but surprisingly find better options at the normal IGA store. Really good options for a quick lunch or easy prepared dinner. They have some giant prepared salads too but unfortunately the ingredients aren't listed to it's impossible to know what's in the included dressing.

Pros: Vegan prepared wraps / sandwiches

Cons: Some of the salads don't have ingredients listed

Vegan Options

I got some fruit, the vegan wrap, and some vegan soups. They even have Kite Hill Vegan Tortellini made with almond milk ricotta along with other frozen vegan options. Highly recommend! Soups were $7.50 a can though so as you can find everywhere in Juneau, beware of the higher prices.

Pros: Vegan Deli Options, Vegan Frozen Food Options (Soy Free Options too!), Vegan Options are Easy to Find

Cons: Prices are High

Review packed on date!

This store has pre made falafel wraps. They were 4/10 for me taste wise. Better when heated up. I didn’t pay attention to the packed on date, so my wrap was 4 days old.
The next day, I bought a tofu wrap which was packaged that day. Much better.

Pay attention to the pack date!

Best Wraps

They have a variety of fresh vegan tofu, chickpea, and black bean wraps made daily as well as vegan sushi. The wraps and sushi are very good (best in town I’d say) and I get them all the time! There are other vegan grocery options available if in need of every day cooking items.

Vegan Rescue

Thankfully found this market with vegan options on Happy Cow. It was a nice walk to the market to grab deli pre made vegan wraps. They were very generous sized and I could only eat half at a time. Saved the rest for snack/dinner.
I had the tofu and my hubby had the falafel wrap. They also had plenty of vegan dark chocolate items and snacks.

Vegan wraps!

4 different types of vegan wraps, all are delish! Very impressive given minimal vegan options in Juneau

Awesome vegan lunch selection!

I tried the vegan chickpea wrap (vegan mayo, chick peas, lettuce, tomato, avocado, sunflower seeds, spices), the vegan tempeh wrap (tempeh, tomato, avocado, lettuce, onion, spicy sauce), and a large salad from the salad bar, including the Thai noodle salad, curry vegetable salad, and mixed bean salad.
This whole feast was only about $15, and everything was delicious.
I was skeptical when a local told me that the IGA was the best vegan lunch spot in town, but after eating here I wholeheartedly agree. Great for getting lunch to bring on a hike or to the beach.

Pros: Many vegan options, clearly labeled, Cheap, Delicious

Cons: No ambiance since it's in a grocery store
