Coffee with a view - Edit
I enjoyed my Americano sitting in the sun on the terrace with a view of the river. I didn't get food, but there are some vegan options on the menu. Staff was very friendly - he asked how much oat milk I wanted and filled it up the top, asking was I sure if it was enough (I like it milky!) Coffee is only from a machine and oat milk is just from Aldi so not the best I've ever had but drinkable, and I'm grateful it's open at this time of the morning (many in Cork aren't). Downsides (which don't affect me personally today) are that there's no bathroom and no inside seating (it's a pod), which could be difficult on a more typical less sunny Irish morning.

My favourite place for lunch - Edit
I'm on a bit of a mission to find the best lunch in Cork city and this is my current favourite (mostly due to its close proximity to wherever I always seem to be). Their 'fly falafel' wrap has become a bit of a staple in my diet lately - it's warm and full of soft falafel and hummus, and definitley worth a try. Even my mum, who hates falafel due to some bad encounters in quite a few restaurants, loves this wrap. Their menu also features two other vegan wraps, and one vegetarian wrap, and the staff are very helpful if you ask them about vegn options. The price - €8.50 - is pretty good in today's madly expensive economy and compared to other cafés nearby. I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch!
